Why doesn't Fiora's ult healing scale with AP (obvbigger scaling) instead of AD?
It's a utility thing, not a part of her duelist main fantasy. And anyway people are building triforce on her despite it being suboptimal due to her long CDs.

Having a high ad ratio on it helps force her to build squishy. She can't build ap, so the heal wouldn't scale at all, so it has to have huge base values or it is just worthless. That enables tanky builds. You can use an ap ratio when the numbers of the spell don't matter, but for a heal, the numbers are the only thing that matters.
On the pbe, the duration is scaling with the number of vitals she hits. If she hits all the vitals she gets the same heal duration as she has now. That is a much, much more elegant nerf than just making the heal not scale.
People build triforce because her q has a very short cooldown. With some cdr, you can use it roughly once every 2.5-3 seconds.
Oh, I thought it was 8 secs rank 5
Yes, but it gets a 60% cooldown reduction whenever it hits an enemy. Get it down to 6 seconds with 25% CDR and it only has a 2.4 second cooldown if you hit someone with it.
HORE SHITTU ok that's spammy spammy.

Lol. During the rework I said "Hey I get that Fiora's ult is supposed to be difficult and rewards you for good playing, but if this AOE heal is so strong then what's to stop her from using it on someone right before they die?"
Got a Rioter response that said "We don't foresee that being the main use of the ability". Glad to know I was right.
Yeah.... Not much defending Riot there. At least they recognized it eventually.
