Is it worth making a new account?

Everyone starts off terrible at this game, and this is the account that I did that on. This brought my overall winrate down by a ton and it's been pretty exhausting trying to get it back to where it is now, even though it still isn't even that high (45%, but from 36% to 45% in just a month or two isn't that bad of an increase).

I have been stuck in between Bronze 5 and Bronze 4 ever since I started playing ranked, even though I consider myself a semi-decent player for my elo and think I should be able to easily get to at least B3, but I haven't been able to do much even with a couple hundred games played (yes I know this isn't many games compared to some but still, I think you get my point).

I also have invested quite a bit of money (for me) in this game and I really like all the stuff I got from it and whatnot so that's another aspect stopping me from making a new account.

Anyway, is it worth making a new account even after all the time I put into this one? I just kind of want a fresh start but I also think I can make this account work if I just keep playing. Like if there was a way to reset everything but keep the skins and shit I would do that but I don't think that's an option.

Let me know what you think, and my op.gg is below if you wanna see my stats and shit for some reason. http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=itsMojoYT

Thanks! :D

You'll prob start off at a higher rank, whether thats worth anything is up to you. The idea people spread around about how getting out of bronze is impossible is a myth, if you continue to improve, eventually you'll get to a level where winning most bronze games are chill af. Losing skins and alot of time just for a small boost in elo doesnt sound worth it to me.

Hello again!

your current mmr ~880. significantly lower than most bronze 5's.

matched game mmr ~920. you're playing about 40 mmr higher than where you are "currently" according to op.gg this means you're not into the deep end of elo hell yet. find a duo and win games that way. until then don't play ranked.

You'll probably place low silver, but that will take 100+ games to level up. It's up to you whether you think that is worth it or not.

You can start new account but be ready to be recognized by the system immediately. Lose too many games or have bad KDA, buy items sooo late, get low creep score and you gonna have games with baaaad people which are easily won.

Stomp games after games and = smurfs.

I pulled myself from Bronze V to Silver IV almost purely with Support Rammus. Nothing is impossible.

Considering I ended bronze 5 ish last season, and have since then pushed myself up to Silver 3, it sounds like you just either need more games in ranked or a new perspective on the game. If ranked is not really a priority to you as much as having fun, it isn't worth. It isn't worth to swap accounts anyway because as Riot has said before, your rank and your MMR doesn't make you, it's just a rough indicator.

Start watching your games, start watching pro streamers in your roles, get advice from higher elo friends. It's a free ticket to climbing.
