The mode is not out for a few hours, and it is flooded with tryharders picking the really broken stuff only instead of just picking something random and going for a fun and nice game. Heck, I even got flamed for picking a champ I wanted to try.
This is why I never wanted to mode back TBH... even last year I only played one round, because it's unbearable.

At the same time a hecarim runs rampant in the jungle.
If I start a game I actually want to PLAY - not wait on the sidelines while the tryhard kids have fun killing me over and over again.

If someones gonna be a tryhard, you might as well too. Im sure that was just a bad match, people will be playing simpler shit as the mode goes on. People want to play the op shit first, then they will get curious and pick other champions, give it time man. Im sure youre a little tilted, but remember league is meant to be fun, enjoy urf while its here. just try to relax and enjoy yourself :D

SaltyToplaneGoat1 votesYes, but the number of broken and unfaun champs is rather limited, especially when you take banning into account. Most unhealthy champs are also quite nerfed, so few people play them, resulting in an overall pleasing experience even if the community is salt-bathed scum.

Well yeah but ranked is the gamemode that's supposed to be all about winning. URF is the gamemode that everyone screamed about wanting back because "it's just harmless fun".

Testalyrica2 votesThis is why urf needs to be random champs, and have it set up like aram where you can reroll champs like 2 times but you have to play a few games to get the option to reroll. It would greatly improve urf, sure it would be more rng in how the games are won. But it's better than seeing the same 5 champs over and over again.

Sarutobi1 votesIts one of the reasons why this mode (as well as all the others) are not permanent. it loses its charm and is just nothing but the same 10-20 champions. There is no diversity and you get harassed if you dont play any of those OP champions. I try to ignore it, but after every single game when you want to play a champion you want to, but get nothing but death threats, or being called a troll for picking something else just isnt fun!
