Disable new champions in Draft modes for the first week after their release, please

I've been trying to get into a draft game for almost an hour now.

Every single game, someone picks or bans Ornn, and someone else dodges because they wanted to play him. This happens with every single champion release, making the game literally unplayable for those of us who only enjoy draft.

New champions should be unavailable in ranked for a week following their release, including non-5 man ranked. This change should have been made long ago; regardless of the problem with not being able to get into games, it shouldn't be acceptable to take a brand new champion immediately into a ranked game.

Basic Draft is fine, it's ranked that new champions/relaunches need disabled for a week.

So what does that accomplish? Do you think people won't ban him whenever he's available?

All this does is delay the inevitable and makes it unfair for the people who bought him.

Some people ONLY play ranked. When they go into normals they get shit quality games. Kinda lame to make those players play at a lower level just to play a champion they want to play. Better change would be to disable BANNING new champions for at least a week.

That way people get to practice the champion and we don't get a bunch of bad players once the banning finally subsides.

Also at high elo people dodge when you ban what they wanna play a ton, or if they get busted team comps.

We don't want to deal with you practicing a champ for first time in ranked. Instead of dealing with shit quality games in normals you're making rank have shit quality games.

You're gonna have to deal with that shit a week later because they didn't practice them at all in normals cause they don't PLAY normals. Also I hope you realize that people also ban the new champion in normal draft xddd

Agreed, they need to take a page out of Smites book when it comes to new champion releases. They at least disable them for two weeks after a new release.
