Rengar needs nerfs!! his whole kit is just unbalanced!!

And now at 5.16 that armor is getting even more nerfed he would be even more toxic to deal with him!

So where is the nerfs?

Now people will come out and spit crap about counterplay

but there is one fact to consider ... rengar works just like riven on a feast or famine basis

what does that mean ? That when rengar gets ahead his strengths overshadow his weaknesses and make it barely possible to deploy any effective counterplay This means that people blabbing about hiscounterplay talk shit ... you cant use it in that case

But wait there is case number 2 Rengar failed and its opposite ... his weaknesses overshadow his strengths ... so even if you don't deploy any counterplay rengar has little chances of doing a successful play This means that people who are blabbing counterplay talk shit cause you dont need to use it in that case

Counterplay is an argument that is reserved for champions who dont represent feast or famine gameplay so rengar ... riven ... yasuo ... draven and some other guys dont get to have their counterplay assessed until they get to play the game for its entire duration instead of having it decided by their early game

does rengar need a nerf ? hell no he needs a power shift that will stabilize his impact throughout the game and allow us to actualy know whether his counterplay works propertly

is rengar balanced? yes but in the worst possible way since the core of his balance spits out toxicity and cancer at either your or your enemy's face

if riven lose lane its over for him! because simple he lost the lane!!

Now if rengar losing lane he can easily R mid and JUMP and take assist or kill on the enemy mid laner

THAT THE DIFFERENCE Rengar have way too many tools to get ahead and snowball and on top of all that he have an overloaded kit!! that its the stronger when it come to assasins

Because like i say before an assasin would need to walk in to the enemy face and use his abilities and then die probably because he would be squishi!!

Now rengar can JUMP from 700 range to an enemy unleash all his combo and on top of all that he get tank stats and massive MS boosts!

That why he need nerfs! Plus his base stats Hp per lvl and armor is way too high too i know people dont really check this stats but they are high for an "Assasin" because if rengar is allowed to have 400 hp more at lvl 18 from evelynn and shaco when he get a heal and armor/mr then you know there is a problem!!

So yeah he need nerfs i dont say go ahead and make his Q deal 10 damage at rank 5 but remove some of his tankiness and allow some counterplay against him!

riven has more tools to dominate a lane rengar is indeed more suited for getting himself ahead even if matchup doesnt favor him

but then again if rengar gets a kill it isnt granted he will dominate his lane opponent while for riven ... one kill is difference between being bullied by a renekton and bullying a renekton

and everything goes through the window when we take junglers into account

those are just differences in their kits .... the underlying problem stays and they handle the game in a very similar fashion (if ahead they are both tanky fighters and insanely bursty assasin having the pro's of both and con's of none)

powershifts need to be made in order to know the actual ballance .... being feast or famine throws the balance of a champion away from the way he interacts with other players ... and puts it mainly on lane matchups and lane presence overall

what we call balance ... is mainly about the interaction ... as far as said champion defies our criteria balancing him according to said criteria is impossible

60% win ratio in diamond and master tier!! 55+ ban ratio

And the fact that you say this (the bold) alone is enough!!

Plus you need more than this ? 400% AD ratios that he can unleash them with no counterplay!

Oh that balanced huh? many champs have 400% ad ratio and even more but they cant unleash them in 0.1 seconds from stealth and from jumping!!

Plus "Hurr durr lock him down and kill him" he is an assasin with heal and Armor/MR steroid! Garen would need to farm 120 minions to have 30 armor! Rengar only need to press W and he get 30 armor

Do i need to continue? or you get the point?

This champion have way too many tools to survive and to kill someone this is too much for an assasin!!

He is an assassin. If assassin can't oneshot his target-he is bad. His W heals only if you use it on 5 stacks, and that means no double Q, and no root. If you are a mage-build Zhonyas, and use it when he jumps If you are ADC-ask support to save you If you are support-save your ADC If you are a jungler/toplaner-get more health or armor. He is strong now, but with all that devourer junglers and Elise with her 1.6 sec stun at lvl1, he is actually balanced And he can't survive, he jumps in your team and then he dies fast. If he did not oneshot your ADC-he will eat 2 crits 1k damage each and die. And if he builds any tank items-his damage will be weaker, and that means easier counterplay

Are you sure it is 60 % win? He usually has sub 50% win rates in most elo's. I did look at lolking and it fluctuates really heavily in those ranks you stated like one day he was at 35% win rate lol. And just wondering why you think assassins shouldn't be able to kill one shot people when fed? and don't give me the "It doesn't matter if he is fed or not he will 1 shot you"

No season 4 Kha-zix was an overloaded assassin.

And like I already said he ranges between 35% and 60% win rate in Diamond not really a stable number to say he is broken or not.

And when you say JUMP you do know all of the popular melee assassins have some form of gap close Khazix Zed Talon . The main difference is Rengar has to have a bush or use his ult. And just like talon once he goes in he cant leave. If he 1v5's your team well then you deserve to lose that game because you were REALLY far behind.

The last thing I would like to point out is most rengars level W up last. That being said he only gets 10 armor until about level 13.... so please stop acting like he has 30 it at level 1.
