Have ARAM choose from

The entire pool of champions, or atleast a list of champions someone has played before. Getting paired against both an akali and a katarina while you have a team of no cc is total bs. Not the first that it has happened and i'm certain it isn't the last that it will. Out of 120+ champions and im consistently seeing kat and akali on the enemy team..hmm must just be bad luck, or maybe aram accounts. Either way can we actually make it random?

But an ARAM game is like 20 minutes long, so you can probably suffer through it. The system is mostly to prevent people getting stuck on champs they don't know. I've played Zed once during his free week, hated him, and never touched him again; it's odd to me that you want to make that kind of experience more common. Even if you're somehow good at every champ, do you really want to have a first time Kalista on your team?

Read my other suggestion in there, where I also suggested champs that they've played before.

I've played Zed before. I didn't like it, and I wouldn't want to play it again. But I've played it before. I'm just not sure how the system would actually work.

Right.. but if zed's free you have a higher chance of playing him how it currently is. How many champions do you own and is zed one of them or no?

MisterHealYoGirl1 votes

i own maybe forty champions, counting the free ones. Zed is not one of them.

let's say he were free and you didnt own the 8 free champiions (i think it's eight) lol your chance of getting zed would be 1/48. With this change if your chance would be 1/126 of ever getting him. Also you have trades and rerolls. Plus i'm sure quite a few would agree that it's better than aram accounts.

Are they really so epidemic, though? You'll never have to play with the person again after 20 minutes. Unless a significant portion of all accounts own Varus, Jayce, Nidalee, Lux, Ziggs, and no one else, I feel like this is not a huge issue.

It's a pretty big issue with aram.

I play a lot of ARAM, and I see an AWFUL LOT of Evelynn. I don't notice it, personally. How would you even know? It's not like you play a bunch of games against them in a row.

Because the odds of seeing a katarina consecutively like 5 times are really low. 1/25 per game. Now the second game will have lower odds than the first and so on and so forth.

But out of the thousands of ARAM games played each day, it's bound to happen. I once got dealt Xerath seven times in a row. Obviously, I'm not going to convince you, and nor am I going to be able to prove that ARAM-exclusive accounts don't exist. However, I don't think it's a huge issue, and probably not worth the gameplay and marketing pain for Riot to change. ARAM is still fun, and if it's not for you, then there's really nothing you or I can do about it.

I have a collection of champions and currently i have a pool of more than 100.... I don't play around 80% of them, most of them I just bough, play once and store since their playstyle didn't match me yet I own them and I get them on ARAM from time to time is part ofthe joy of the play to get a champion you are not necessarily good at... enabling all champions will make ARAM feel a tad better for single account holder (like the terms & agreement say) since I see a lot of people that play on ARAM-only-accounts with ridiculous small pools of around 20 champions.

No idea why you got downvoted. Probably was someone with an aram account. Voted you back up to +1 though my friend =]

The simple solution to aram: Enable all champions

it would provide ways for players to try new champs (at random) and fix the "aram account" issues

This is exactly it lol.
