Season 7 Low elo Quality of LIfe Changes - Ranked

If you are not going to revert ranked back to solo/duo queue at all ranks can you please at least look at making some quality of life changes at low elo?

1. More evenly matched dynamic queue games. It seems like the system now just looks for a group or groups to match you with and then the lowest skilled players ever to put on your team. I know its bs to blame your teammates who are not in your party but honestly from what I have seen this season a lot of the times the players added to say a 3 man roster are ridiculously out classed. Like last night when playing with some random summoners I just met we got a brand new player in their placement matches and a sona who literally missed all but 1 ult. The games are so unevenly matched it feels like you are just playing a normal game honestly. I hate the idea of boosting which is why I play dynamic queue on a different account but the quality of the actual dynamic queue games I have played this season have been a joke to say the least.

2. Lower new account starting mmr. Yes I have multiple accounts and yes I am happy you decreased the time to level accounts. That being said I believe now is the time to finally decrease the starting mmr of new accounts. Yes... a lot of new accounts entering ranked are some sort of smurf or alternate account. But honestly... who gives a f what that account is ranked after placements if its a smurf. Clearly they making another account because they got banned or to grind the ladder so what harm does it do to make them grind a little farther? Would much rather have plat smurf be placed in mid silver than gold 5 if it means preventing players who just hit 30 from automatically being ranked silver 3 -5 . It would at lest help bring back a small portion of ranked integrity. I have seen so many players over the years play for only a few months and be ranked silver when their really should be bronze 4-5. Meanwhile me and others had to grind our asses off now or in the past to reach silver or higher.

3. Stop this stupid handicapping ranked bullshit. I have played ranked steadily for 4 seasons now and see it every season. It is such a huge fuck you to low elo its insane. You see posts all the time about "I went 10-0 in placements and got bronze 5" because they were bronze last season and did their promos at the start of the season. But if they waited until September and went 10-0 they honestly would probably have been placed in gold or damn near. Like its just retarded and really hurts ranks in this game. I think I know why the system does this, but does not mean its a good system. I like the idea of this ladder where you have to grind but that should mean placements stay the same for everyone and should not change based on the time of year you do your placements. And if anyone reads this... yes.... it does matter when you do your placements. Ask my buddy who literally hasn't played the game in two years how his placements went haha. So my buddy reached gold in season 4. He only played his placements last season and then quit playing the game entirely. He did his placements earlier in the season last year so like many of us he dropped in rank. It was only from like gold 5 to silver 2. But then he literally never played a ranked game the rest of the season.

So take it to this week. I didn't even see him log on but I guess he decided to play some ranked. He ended up going 5-5 and got placed in gold. Like lmfao how does that make sense. I sound salty but I have been aware of this sort of thing for years so I just think its hilarious at this point. Two of our other friends who have also been gold since season 4 and have somewhat continued to play this game are both still in silver this season. They finally getting close to reach gold, but have struggled this season. Meanwhile our friend who literally had no idea their were new dragons or about half of the other crazy changes the game has had in the last 2 years get put in gold for free because.... Riot logic.

Honestly low elo is most of your player base. I know we all suck but you could at least try to treat us a little differently and just not give people the middle finger for grinding out lower ranks by randomly placing people in all different ranks and just shrugging your shoulders saying "meh... it will sort it self out". Because honestly..... a lot of people in low elo who play ranked don't spam hundreds of games a season like me so no it does not just sort itself out.

Didn't mean for this to turn into a rant but it did. But honestly I do think some minor quality of life changes could be made to the low elo side of ranked that may keep players interested in grinding or at least make them feel like they are making some progress on their climb.
