Before his rework, that was the one weakness he had. He had a game breaking ult and good damage, but if you wanted cc you needed help from your teammates. After the rework, his bombs are no longer point and click, but it's probably healthier that way anyways considering how strong his ult is. Anyways, my point is Zilean shouldn't have cc. He's already broken enough without it.

Why not? He's a support. And supports usually have either cc, heals or shields in their kit.

I can understand changing ratios and damage, but removing any form of CC from him would be like removing Draven's Axe-Catching mechanic.

CC isn't his identity. His identity is someone who can control time and also save allies when his ult is used properly. Before the rework he never had cc and he was fine. Why does he need it now?

He had a slow and, trust me, he was much more annoying before the rework than he was after.

Ok I admit I forgot he had a slow, but a slow isn't hard cc. Now he's able to revive AND hard cc someone, but sure he was more annoying BEFORE the rework lol.

Try facing a Zilean that had a 30 second revive at level 6 and a perma slow. Now, even though he has stun and his slow has been increase but it has more of a window to allow people to slip away and you actually have to aim both bombs and his revive only hits 30 seconds at level 3 instead of level 1.

Nobody would pick him at all since you could pick something that not only can save teammates but provide way more than just an ult
