@rito: Ardent Censer should work with speedups and on Bannered minions

The first is for Zilean, maybe giving him one more possible item would help him a bit since we apparently can't have the correct bomb prioritizing (riot please fix). It would also buff Sona, Nami and Lulu, and the two latter are also pretty weak compared to initiatior supports so it shouldn't really be that huge of a problem. The second is for Soraka. Banner of Command is a great item on her since it gives her HP regen and Locket's passive with less HP than Locket (and stacking health is unefficient on her) and she's the support that's most able to keep a bannered minion alive. However, she pretty weak right now (SPELLTHIEF SCALES BADLY LATEGAME AND HER Q SPEED IS 2DAMLOW *cough cough*) so giving her this additional siege power would be great.

Lulu support IS weak, she has been nerfed too much. Nami not so much but she is a well-done generalistic jack of all trades master of none so she is fine.

Sona's the 12th most popular support in Solo que above plat. The only 3 true supports she places above are Lulu, Taric and Soraka, although Lulu's actual play rate is a little higher than Sona's because Lulu mid and top exist.

She's also not seen competitive play at all recently. The last time I can remember anyone picking Sona was just after her rework, before Riot gave her an obscene number of nerfs in one patch and continued to nerf her despite her being one of the weakest supports after said nerfs.

Sona's probably one of the weakest supports in the game at any rank above silver. As a jungle main whenever I see a Sona picked I already know which lane to camp.

Coin is better than spellthief on Soraka for health regen. AP on Soraka is really meant for heal (and self-heal) than damage. Spellthief is kinda pointless.
