we had: Irelia, Nautilus, Sejuani (yup), Maokai, Veigar (RIP), Syndra and God knows who else picked as supports
yet Zyra is nowhere to be seen after the huge 3.13 nerf wich deleted her from pro play in one single patch

look, i did quit a month ago due to the horrible state of botlane, i won't return before they fix it somehow, it is insanely depressing to tryhard like a dog playing Zyra vs terrible players even risking to lose when i could go Leona or Janna and collect my freelo
i think i will never return because Riot has got a crush on tank supports while mage supports aren't ever allowed to be viable

The 3.13 was mostly a buff to her end game and the biggest hit was to her ult which wasn't needed.
Zyra destroys janna and leona bot.
Janna is a joke.
Leona will give a tougher time because she is tankier, but she has no sustain. How i win against leona bot is by poking "LEONA" down below 50% before the ADC, because a full HP leona can solo your ADC so you don't want her getting the chance to think she can engage and survive.
If the ADC tells you to focus the enemy ADC don't listen. They are just bad, patience will go along way.

Doesn't mean I'm happy with the current state of Zyra. Poke supports in general are really suffering right now, and you'd have to be a crazy person to think Zyra is a competitive solo lane pick.

This meta is actually pretty great for her. Great for a lot of immobile mages actually.
The frontline they get from the current meta allows them to dish out the damage from the backline without assassins getting in their face as easily as they did in S4.

Nyaboron1 voteshypertanks and cc bots are what's in meta right now. Zyra is just too squishy and immobile to be worked in. I would love for them to give her a passive though, since right now it does shit damage and it's retarded hard to hit.
BuCkeT SeiZureS1 votesThe only zyra buff I think would be cool is if grasping roots stopped dashes. Its not easy to hit, so it would be a great reward. And the move seems like it would literally snatch people as they try to escape. Other than that, though, she just needs the meta to change a bit. Then she will be a lot better.
