Why do Lees and Wus etc
Persist on building 100% damage? Can they really not see that they get nuked way before they can do any of that damage. So frustrating.

Chances are they are depending on the opportunities to catch an opponent out and blow them up. Those chances come very often in solo Q but even without them full damage Lee is pretty crazy. Hell my last game as Ahri I had 2k HP and 125 armor just for Lee to Q-Q-E-R me and I was dead by the end of it.
Wu isn't to different except his damage won't come as fast as Lee's but with his knock-up he can hold people in place for a decent amount of time.
In solo q where games are a disorganized mess full damage on mobile melee champs really isn't as bad as its made out to be.
Its easier to do this in solo q. Look at it from my perspective as a jungler who possibly got forced into the role I didn't want to go. I go jungle and my lanes start to feed. When teamfights start even with me being tanky, we just lose out because the rest of my teammates can't do damage as the other team is much further ahead. I might as well have just built DPS as we would be losing either way and at least with damage, I might actually be able to kill someone, instead of praying that my base damage will be enough to kill them. It's just the way that the meta has shifted and in general not many people like to tank/support other players. Also it is even more frustrating to building tanky and doing the supportive role, but your team can't do the damage, as that's what they are supposed to be doing.
Not saying that this is right, just saying how it seems to me. I actually do like tanking if I know my teammates are actually good enough to know how to farm/engage, but usually this isn't the case. It's safer to just try to do as much as I can from the jungle and hope for the best.
