I rushed it vs a Singed thinking "Okay maybe I can rush a banner and everything will be fine and I won't have to deal with this ridiculousness", the banner minion dies in 5 seconds even without him autoing it. Why not just delete this pos item to save people from making the mistake of buying it if you're gonna make it not even worth the buy?

It is however, the only item that offers flat mana and magic resistance. ... just for something noteworthy.
I think if they were to buff the active it might be worth while.
Maybe instead of buffing only a single minion, it could buff the whole wave, or the nearest 3 or 4 minions to the targeted minion.
Maybe just decreasing the cooldown or giving several charges per cooldown.
I'd much rather see it get buffed than deleted.

I understand WHY they might have weakened it(it didn't ever feel this weak before) because of Heimer. But still, right now it dies to minions in 3 seconds. Maybe I am slightly salty that I lost from a decision that SHOULD have been a right one according to the item's purpose. However that doesn't change the fact that the item right now is pretty garbage.

My point was more to highlight how uniquely useful the item can be for needing MR and flat mana, for example it could be decent on Ryze and/or other blue build champions who need some resistances.
The active in this sense is really just .. there.
It may help, it may not. ... It probably wont.
