I liked Season 8

I kinda liked it up to 8.12 then it became super stagnant, like very very stagnant.

I woulda loved it if I had pre rework Galio to play with these juicy new runes

fuk season 8, fizz got a shitty "revert" while lb and rengar got actual reverts and akali got a cool rework :(

I don't know why but when I play norms I despise the game but ranked feels really fun now for some reason

Playing League since season 3 and this is the worst season I ever had to experience. Braindead, demotivating, unsatisfying.

The sad thing is, I had the most fun in season 7. After ardent got nerfed, the game felt just as good as back in the days. I thought they were doing everything right again. Then it turned into this excuse of a hack'n'slay game.

Saying Season 8 is better than Season 6 is really only valid taking Dynamic Queue into consideration.

Saying Season 8 is better than Season 7 isn't true because both are equally awful in different ways and your preference will boil down to what champion/role you play (season 7 will obviously be better to an ADC player, for example).

Season 8 is an actual testament to incompetent game balance, period. It is a toxic wasteland of poor overall game design (outside of most champion gameplay individually) and should never be looked upon fondly except when it ends.

Better or comparable to the past couple seasons isn't saying much.
