Is recent champion design getting toxic and degenerate?
Lets look at recent releases of new champions. Kled: haven't played or played against one yet gotta see Taliyah: simply outperforms every roam focused mid laner due to incredible shoving protential, heavy nerfs after release. Sol: Basically Taliyah store all over again Jhin: simply outperform all other utility adc with his utility and higher damage, also his mana cost was disgustingly low before nerfed. Illaoi: she is fine cuz people gut gid kindred: do I even need to talk about how she outmatches every jungler in every aspect? same story nerfed heavily to balance broken kit. Tahm Kench: super toxic and annoying before the 6k hp shield was nerfed to ground ekko: broken at release, nerfed to dhit state, new tank item broken on hin again, gets nerfed to shit again. Bard: this guy too quite a few hits, but he is support so no one cared reksai: melee kindred Kalista: literally need to be nerfed to yorick state azir: cancer of competetive plays.
how about the champion reworks?
Graves: fucks all junglers at the time of release and took quite a few hit to tone down, still top tier Poppy: nerfed Fiora: seriously who the fuck thought %max hp true dmg is a good idea? Malzahar/Vlad/Sain/Sona: literally need hotfixes and nerfs after that
enough of the ranting, what I am trying to say here is that Rito had been making some really ridiculous champio designs which all ended up being broken and needed to get smash by the nerf hammer. This really isn't healthy game design pattern.
