Why does Ornn full combo do 48% max HP as magic damage at level 9?

Gee I dunno, but nevermind that, being briefly unstoppable was what made him so OP - Riot.

You do realize you just said..... "His full combo." In other words he gets you to half while you can 100% kill him.

48% Max HP is not the entirety of his full combo? When you factor in damage from his Q, E, R, and auto attacks, the damage is insane for a level 9 champion with 0 damage items. What other champions come close to his % HP damage while building nothing but tank items?

Your post literally said full combo.

And there are many who do more damage:

TahmKench Maokai for example.

Okay you win the semantics argument. I should have posted "Why does Ornn full combo contain 48% max HP as magic damage at level 9, as well as base damage?"

Also both of those champions have to invest in AP items for the ratio to actually be significant, whereas Ornn simply gets the rediculous %HP from levels.

Not really. Base damage is enough for Tahm or Mao to do damage.

Did you have any MR built against Ornn?

Base damage isn't nearly as strong as %HP, as building health can be effective towards mitigating base damage whereas building health is worthless against %HP. %HP forces you to build resistance against its damage type.

Also I was not talking about any game in particular against Ornn, and when I do play against Ornn, I refuse to interact with him at any point in the lane because he just gets to win trades by default.
