Queueing as Bard

I do not possess the Champ, but he is under consideration for my next purchase.

With that fact, I would ask: Since Bard is a roaming support, do people usually queue as Support and leave Bot alone to 1v2 while they're roaming, or do they usually queue as Jungler so Bot still has their "local" support, but leaving the team without a "standard" Jungler?

Is the exp gain from his passive even large enough to make up for his lesser ability to clear the camps?

I never like acquiring information from but one source, so I would appreciate multiple responses/opinions even if the whole community were to be in agreement.

you que as support and you stay close to bot, only get the meeps withing a short radius to you, push up the wave signal to fall back and never go to top jungle unless you have a wave pushed up to inner turret or you have fed your adc to eb able to 1v2 easily (make sure to ward hella ton to avoid ganks.

That's if I want to play like some kind of semi-standard semi-roaming support.

What if I want to play a legit roaming support? You know, help everybody, not just babysit the ADC.

You can go jungle it works surprisingly well because bard's clear may be a little poor at first but he more than makes up for it with a lot of cc in his kit, mobility, and an e for special ganks. It probably isn't the most effective off-meta bard (mid and top ap or ad always seem really fun and surprisingly effective) but if you do I would suggest blood razor with skirmishers followed by trinity and then either a high ad item or deadman's plate. Boots of swiftness too. Bard Bard Bard
