Zed would not benefit from that at all. Manamune would be pretty useless, also no way of quickly stacking tear. Essence reaver? Outclassed by bt which Zed already builds. Triforce? Not really a good item for him anyway. The AP is wasted with or without mana.

Akali would maybe be just a bit better. Seraphs for shield while diving. Lich bane wouldn't have wasted stats. Runeglaive Akali jungle viable :O

Considering how fast he runs out of energy later on in the game and how spammable his skills are having mana would be godlike on him. Seraphs Akali would be broken as fuck.

I think people bitch more about laning phase.

All these champions have to build is damage and health potions, I have to build mana. I run out of mana, I have to either regen or recall. They don't run out of energy is they spam poke. I.E: Zed. His range is pretty fucking insane for having so much damage on the poke he can throw to my turret from the center of the lane.

I don't like Zed's poke either. All he does is sit back and spam Q until I'm low, then he shadows in and tries to ult me.

She got nerfed because baddies wouldn't buy item 3364 item 3362 item 2043 and would feed her to the point where she could 1v5 blindfolded. During the QQ about an energy champion there is always the typical "They use energy instead of mana resourcless op xd"

Akali 's was a panic nerf, they never justified it. Other than stating context, they never explained or even proved WHY that context was relevant, even after DFG was gone.
