Nocturne assassin who doesn't need a rework, he brings map control to his team. Katarina assassin that brings AOE damage

every other assassin should have a rework because they are all "i kill someone and get out" Ekko Fizz Zed Ahri Khazix Leblanc "

Akali Rengar should be reworked because of lack of counterplay Shaco should be reworked because of his early game frustration Kassadin should not be reworked, he should be the most mobile assassin at the cost of having the lowest assassin damage and riot just have to give him his old ulti.

I agree minus shaco.

from a theme perspective he has the most wasted potential at the moment. I drafted a pretty cool rework where the clone mimicked all of shacos abilities and outright changed his invisibility mechanics. he could be very very cool. i think he could do well with a kha zix style ultimate on a basic ability.

I think akali is more snowbally irelia which is always a bad thing. she has only dissatisfaction coming in a rework. Akali players wont be happy.

i dont think you can define kassadin as an assassin since he has alot of dps and bruiser qualities

leblanc zed ahri and kha are all VERY VERY fair. Blame content creators for not teaching you well and the community needs to start blaming themselves for not counterplaying properly.

ekko and fizz were cancer sticks who got nerfed prob need some other changes

Nocturn is wierd because of his ult but he scales with assassin stats like flat pen so its iffy.

Katarina is trash at high elo and has a ton of counterplay counters and very low damage while having to go into melee range. with her passive and 0 cast time spells she will never be a balanced champion because low elo complaints

shaco's rework should just rework his E (trash spell) it's the problem of shaco's frustration, long range nuke and permaslow, this spells doesn't seem like a problem, but when shaco is strong, 2 problems are here, good ganks thanks to perma slow and early insane damage while the champ should scale in late game (passive 20% more damage, Q crit, and clone on-hit damage). then his other spells just just be tweaked.

katarina is trash but doesn't need a rework

the rest is right, kassadin doesn't need a rework, same for nocturne, and the other should be reworked

I don't see anything in the red tracker. Rengo would be in the class update regardless if it was divers or assassins...

i disagree.

Thats like saying nocturn should be in the assassin class. Hes a diver. I threw pantheon up there for example but i dont think he belongs on this list

Meddler confirmd that Rengar will be reworked if it's an assassin rework, or if it's a diving fighter rework, because they want him to be a hybird between those 2.

Right now he is, but Meddler confirmed he'll be more of a diver after any update he receives, regardless of the class update he gets put into.

I'd like Shaco to be updated. I know he's most commonly played as an AD assassin, I'd like for them to rework his kit to emphasize an AP kit. Perhaps something revolving more around his boxes. And if they rework him to be primarily an AP champ, that would bring the list above to 5 AP and 6 AD assassin. A nice balanced selection.

Twitch is an ADC, not an assassin. He's got a stealth ability yes, but he deals sustained damage and doesn't deal exclusively with 100-0 specific targets. He's got some assassin like aspects, but that the extent of it.

they wanted to rework twitch as an adc+assassin by making his ulti giving him 100% crit on the first target and making his Q reseting. He would have backstabbed your backline and would have the time to kill them with 850 range which means that the front line couldn't rescue the backline in time. and catch twitch before he stealthed again.

it was broken and they didn't made it to live.

His Q does reset. Crit thing not so much (that would be ever so broken). A good (but very bold) Twitch can do exactly the above if the squishy doesn't stay close enough to his/her team. He usually does that on their face though, not at 850 range.

Basically in my own opinion: Ahri I dont use her, but I feel like she's in a good spot in the assassin spot, so I really don't think there's a need for her rework. She has great burst and mobility. Nocturne He does bring map control, although I WOULD like a better escape tool or something, he's like a glass cannon. But I think he's in a good enough spot in the assassins that he doesn't need one. Katarina Brings a massive damage ult and AoE damage, she's easily countered with CC. ( Nautilus Malphite etc.) So, she doesn't need a rework due to her E escape. Ekko He has great get out abilities along with a huge burst, plus Riot wouldn't rework him, he's too new. Fizz He's same as Ekko to a certain point, he has the massive damage and semi good escape, they reworked him a bit too in the past. A lot of his damage depends on that R, so he's in no need of a rework. Zed Good escape along with high damage, his ult can be annoying, but if you play right you can handle him fairly well. Khazix I dont use him a lot due to me being mid, but he's balanced enough and can escape well enough to where he needs no rework. Leblanc Her burst is high enough and she has good escapes, her silence removal did her her a tiny, but she's still a massive burst assassin. No need for rework. Akali W can easily be countered and in my opinion, she's balanced unlike she used to be. item 2043 item 3462 Rengar Shaco Just get Talon He's balanced in terms, just get for that ult and item 3157 Kassadin Gutted by Riot when they removed that silence then his ult nerfs, but today he's actually well balanced. Evelynn She's in need of a rework...Please Rito... MasterYi Just get CC and watch him die...

If you read the other posts in that thread you'd realize that they were talking about probably moving Rengar away from being an assassin to be more of a Diver, that means it's just as likely that Divers will be chosen as assassins.

Furthermore, they said "not guaranteed" which means Rengar could possibly not receive any work because a different class would be worked on, like Vanguards.

So all we learned from those Red posts are that the update is going to probably be for assassins or divers, or maybe vanguards. So we're exactly where we've been for a couple months now.

I think for assassins they should make ghostblade on to assassins not to marksmen just like they have hurricane for only marksmen or range champs in general!
