So can we remove % armor pen and crits...

... And retune crits to ignore up to 60% total armor? ADCs are supposed to be able to take objectives and siege, not 1v5 from 550 range.

So can we change crits and remove last whisper so crits are themselves armor penetration? We can increase over all AD on marksman itemization that way and make them more attack-speed centric. Brought to you by the center for ADCs not doing the same damage as dedicated burst mages over the same amount of time

How do you retune crit if you've removed it?

By removing crits as they are? Come on now, no need to ask dumb questions to a sleep-deprived thread of someone who hates sustained burst as a gameplay mechanic.

60% total armor?

That's a little nuts.

i mean. youre going from 2.5 total AD and 45% bonus to 60% armor penetration. I think its a pretty good trade off... especially since it opens the build.

It doesn't really open up the build because all ADCs are kinda supposed to build crit in the first place. To get the most out of it you would still have to build over 50% crit.

It would also make crit a stat that would be useful against any target, making crit builders good against heavily armored targets and low armored targets. Not to mention how abusive this would be only early game crit champions like Yasuo and Tryndamere.

Granted I'm partially ignoring the lose of crit damage. Though it still brings back the problem of the old total armor pen last whisper where it was more useful for popping squishies (while being good against heavily armored targets).

Imo ADCs should decide on whether they want to burst squishies or take down tanks quickly. The problem is that when they are at their "best balance" is when they get the best of both.
