Yep, just run Yasuo on him. You can dash through the cages and put the wall up on his E. Grab ignite and don't get caught by the turret and you've won. 3-1 today minus a really bad throw on my part(got too excited and wasn't patient on the Q tornado's).

I had the opposite experience. Wth no experience fighting new Yorick, I got hit harder than I expected to be from his ghouls and the %HP on the shadow blob. I also got walled into Minion fire, which was a bad on my part, but the rest of it I didn't think would hit like it did. :\
