What if Ez's W marked all targets hit?

So his old W would damage all targets in a line.

What if the new one was changed to put the mark on all targets hit? He would still need to proc the marks but it would help out AP Ez.

Thoughts?

why would we let AP Ezreal set himself up to nuke all 5 enemies one by one?

Because thats what AP use to do and currently is less powerful then before the rework?

It still takes work to proc and the mark does not last that long.

Why not just do AD EZ mid. I don't understand people at all as AP ez was just kind of 1 directional. New AP Ez can blow up a single target from far away which he should like. Lich bane proc on a W'd enemy champion should yield disgusting damage, or you can W then E for a guranteed him and go in. What is it that makes AP EZ so fun his W was pretty trash, and if he was doing so well as AP then why was AP EZ not a popular pick?
