Let's talk more about champion identities

What is the identity of your favorite champion? What unique place do they have in the game? Riot uses champion identities as a starting point for balancing and reworks. That works great if a champion has a strong identity that everyone agrees on. But problems arise when players have different ideas about a character (example: Cassiopeia).

We as players can do something about that. Write down what you love about a champion and what makes them so unique. Then Riot can see if their vision fits what players expect. Every patch Riot solidifies some identities based on what they think is best (for example, Shyvana in 4.21). Make sure you tell them which direction you would like to see.

PATCH 4.21 NOTES: "In light of her recent exit from popularity, Shyvana's a character that's been left without a clear identity. Is she a human? Is she a dragon? Is she viable? Leaning on her original jungling roots, we've decided to boost Shyv's clearing speeds so that she can be one of the faster farmers out there, opening her up to make cooler decisions than just shoving in top-laners and living forever."
