Now that riot is reverting some of the reworks, revert the swain rework completely.
His playrate is lower than before his rework and a total failure because nobody wants to play him now. He is a generic spam mage that is trash playing with 3 abilities and his ult being much weaker than before. They basically made him into a garbage version of vlad.
Also his previous lore and character is much better than whatever he is now.

I think Swain is better off with his new kit. I personally am a fan of his versatility. He scales very smoothly and E is good for play making. W is not useless, but not great for all scenarios. "Healthy."
The best things is that he can move his zone of threat unlike before when it was tied to Beatrice, the W required you to only put it where you could then put Beatrice down or had her down. The damage debuff was just a point and click emphasizing the zones potential even more. Of course, this relates only to the base kit. I don't think you are talking about the ult as they are pretty much the same.

yea lets pretend old swain was good. he had a godawful design that made him look like a joke and his kit was straight up dumb.
Keep the skin changes and the way his Ult looks but ya I prefer the old over the new.
Don't agree with your opinion, but it's ok if you don't like new swain. There are some that hate him, but there's an extremely vast majority (including myself) that love him where he is now.
Honestly i can't remember his old passive. His old kit wasn't bad other than his q just being godawful. His W was an aoe root. His e was a point and click damage amplifier which did a small amount of damage on its own. And I actually really liked his old toggle ult.

The old Swain was better in my opinion. You could zone hard with his q and increase his damage with e. His ult was also a lot better. It healed more and did way more damage than his current one. Plus his new ult is so easy to dodge and people just run away and kite it out. At least revert his ult.
Sorry, what? I quite like the swain rework, it's such a nice kit and very creative. Do think that people spend ALOT of time on these reworks and telling them to just revert it is just straight up a douchebag thing to say.
They don't revert VGUs. Only gameplay updated champions were reverted, such as LeBlanc, Rengar and Kog. Those were not Visual and Gameplay updated champions, like Swain, who gained significant changes that came with brand new animations for his abilities.
I can understand your concerns with his gameplay but his new lore is pretty sweet. I'm just not sure how their current kit for him (besides W which mildly represents that thematic) fits into the idea of a 'Master Tactician'.
Riot doesn’t revert VGUs like Swain; only GUs like Rengar and Leblanc.
just revert his ult and give him a bird
