HOnestly, if they gave us 20 bans, they'll just do what they did with 10 bans and treat it as a license to dump ever more completely unfun champions with hair pullingly frustrating mechanics to face... because 'you ban them'.
How is Sylas broken?
He's got 20k+ games in 3 roles with 35-43% win rates in them. And play rates in the other two roles at 35% win rates in them as well...
Nothing in his kit seems inherently broken either. I don't think he needs buffs, but rather should stay as a niche pick that once people learn to play him will be a bit under 50% win rate in general, but in games with a few huge ultimates worth stealing he may end up above 50%.
I'm honestly here waiting out because I had a Sylas on my team dodge since the enemy team picked Sylas and all I was thinking was damn that guy for costing me a free win in my promos after the enemy team saved me having the garbage-tier pick on my team...
Sylas is only as good as the champions that are in the game with him. It's quite annoying when he steals Karthus or Soraka ult. But without good ults to steal he really just has one skill less than normal champions
