It hit 20 minutes and nobody can 1v1 the 0-5-1 Nasus, guess we'll just send 3 people to stop him

While his other four team mates push down an inhibitor

This is retarded.

Nasus, the champion for people who would rather play farmville than League.

Don't have kills? Don't have items? Doesn't matter, just slow whoever does the most damage and then Q to your puppy-heart's content.

I think one of the problems is that so much of a team's power right now is in the ADC that disabling them with Wither essentially = a won team fight. Unlike an assassin, nasus' (W)ither doesn't care about 1k of Shields.

I have a hard time understanding how Riot could nerf exhaust into the ground and still leave Nasus with a super-exhaust that he can spam at range.

It is not just nasus. The balance of this game is completely retarded. I can go in with 6 kills on any bruiser and they will one shot me with 0 kills and half the cs. Makes me sick.

I played a game a few weeks ago. I was popping off on yasuo mid. Their top nasus was inting harder than NA at worlds. He was like 0/7/1 with 150 stacks at 30 minutes. He pressed W on me. We lost the game because I couldn't move and had negative attack speed. fun

GodlyBane4 votes

pssst.. (yasuo doesnt need attack speed, i hope you knew how to use ur E and W..)

Don’t bother giving him advice. He’s a Yasuo, he already knows the game better than anybody ever could.

im a yasuo main myself.. lol..

Even worse is when the 0/12 Nasus makes you lose because he does nothing but split push and still does a quarter of your HP with Q

We don't have much time. If enough people leave league then Riot will be forced to listen and actually fix their game!!

Riot has shown that they won't fix any of the toplane problems for the next Year-and-a-half.

So leave league with me and together we can help make League great again!!

Dude quit spamming this everywhere. we get it, but nobody gives a shit

Nasus is the definition of a ticking time bomb of a champion and I don't like that.

"Oh, you beat the shit of their Nasus and made him 0/10? Oh I'm sorry. He now has 500 stacks, will split push endlessly and if you try to touch him, he just clicks W and takes out half of your HP with 1 Q."

Ratpie1 votes

I shut down a Nasus and he hadn't even got a kill until the 20th minute. Yet he comes out smashing stuff still (we still won), but susan shouldn't be so scary if he has been shutdown so hard.

A lot of people underestimate the power of farm. It's not just about the gold, you can have 3 or 4 kills, but if you roamed too much and are down 50+ CS, the enemy solo laner who never left lane can shit on your item advantage by base stats gained from levels alone. This is especially true for Nasus, even if he may be 0/5.

However, while your team have been roaming around padding that KDA score, he's been sitting in lane, eating wave after wave of exp (and of course gold). He might be an item down, but when you're 2 levels down, your base stat disadvantage puts him on equal (if not better) ground. The stacking Q is just a bonus, any juggernaut with a big enough level advantage is going to be a raid boss unless the score difference is totally massive (which also usually translates to him missing a lot of waves from the respawn timer, and not gaining that level advantage in the first place).

Levels matter.

Edit: Consider this - those mid lane "deathball 5v5s" as Hashinshin calls it, are 5 (or 4 people if you have a splitpusher) sharing 1 lane's worth of farm for a good minute or so waiting for something to happen. The splitpusher is getting the entire next few waves of gold/exp all to himself in the lane he's splitting in, even more if he rotates efficiently between lanes to farm them. This is an example of the results: a Singed game where I started off 1/7. Maintained level advantage and wasn't really too behind despite that score.

i wonder who let him Nasus free farm for 10 minutes because of roams.. hmm..

ZephyrDrake1 votes

"0/5/1" ok... how much CS did he had? how many items did he had? what lvl was he vs your top laner? you can kill him as many times as you want but if you are not denying him gold or experience then you are not delaying him in the slightest and if he is just marginally behind then what does he care? he is a late game champion being marginally behind is like winning lane for him

If no one on your team can stop a 0-5 Nasus then you either didn't cs very well or didn't pick the right champs. Trundle Yorick MasterYi Illaoi Olaf can all shit on Nasus if they get a lead, and push just as well as him.

illaoi vs nasus is a hilarious lane. He'll wreck you if you miss your soul pull thing but has to be in range of your ult to kill you.

Illaoi and Yi do not kill nasus lol. And trundle would only be able to kill nasus if nasus literally stood still and stayed in the fight against trundle. Nasus would be able to tank most of trundles damage, if he got low enough he could just wither and run away. Yi gets 3 qd dead, illaoi gives free farm with her tentacles.

LyingOnLine1 votes

Wow.

Turns out you know all of shit about Nasus. What a big ole surprise.

Nasus was my 2nd champ to main, I know just about all you need to know on him.

Trundle vs Nasus could go either way depending on who gets a lead, however I'd give a slight edge to Trundle as his Ult counters Nasus's Ult. Yi just needs to take Lethal Tempo and rush item 3124 with little bit of armor and he shit on Nasus where ever he goes. Illaoi's tentacles giving stacks isn't really that big of a deal, considering she's really good at zoning opponents out of minion cs if she can consistently land her E. Those 30 or so stacks from tentacles won't do Nasus much good if he can't farm minions properly.

Sir Fuzzi1 votes

Is the problem base strengths or the nature of his Q stacks?

TakaDama1 votes

Here is how you fight Nasus effectively:

  1. Pick a champion that is good vs multiple opponents early to mid game. This lessens the chance of him snowballing due to a gank.
  2. Harass the bloody hell out of him as he's farming. For anyone with hard CC, get that first or second level and deny him CS. Teemo is notable in that his Blind basically stops on hit effects as well.
  3. When the laning phase ends for everyone else, stay on top of Nasus. Don't let him farm, don't let him push. If his team helps him your team can get objectives.

Early kills are pretty much only good for first blood, as dropping minion aggro in bush and recalling takes longer than the death timer early on.
