It proves to be more problematic, than helpful in starting a game faster, what with self-entitled jackasses just picking whatever the hell they want in norms, locking in, not even calling a lane, then putting the other guy (and potentially his friend, if he has one, as well) on tilt? It didn't happen to me directly but by god it's cancerous to deal with anyway. It just fucks games up cause people are eternally stubborn.
The Sword Saint2 votesI'm going to ignore how hypocritical this extremely old and done to death argument is and just point out that there is literally no point in any of what you're talking about because the New Champion Select that's coming out soon will be replacing normals and ranked - and in the new champ select lanes are picked before you even load into queue so this will literally never be an issue again in probably less than a month.
