top lane is worse than support

you die more than once in lane? ignored and blamed

you come bot lane to stop the enemy top laner don't get any kills only assists and try to get some minions to make up for coming down? flamed

you do well in lane? you're expected to make sure absolutely nobody dies and if they do you are getting blamed

you made sure to get turrets after you team gets caught out doing something they shouldn't have? flamed

at least playing as support you only have to deal with the adc

Don't get me started on jungling. all roles suck sometimes. That's life. Deal with it.

Top Lane - always forgotten/not acknowledged unless you do bad...then you are gonna hear it from everyone. It's the only lane where everyone just expects you to be able to function because they forget about you until you're needed

Jungle - get's some good credit but if more than one lane loses...you're gonna hear it

Support - generally ok except for abusive adcs but in this era, supports are treated as though they can't do anything wrong (at least, if it's your word against the adc that is)

Adc - if you feed...gl trying to explain it wasn't your fault without everyone viewing you as one of those "abusive adcs"

Mid - ???

Top lane is the worst. Its the ultimate counterpick lane (ranged > melee, Garen > Trundle, Renek > ranged with Gank etc). If you first pick and the enemy counter picks, prepare to sit and farm while praying your other team members carry.

Also, with the TP nerfs all you can do is split push and you miss out on a lot of cool team fights. Its basically a Pray your team carries lane for the most part unless you're so good with your champ you can beat your counter picks.

At least with mid lane, you can count on superior team fight capability even if counterpicked (and most of the match-ups are skill shot based so you can always outplay).
