whats up with the inconsistency of the immolate passive regarding spell hits though?

item 3751 item 3068 item 1413 passive will count as an extra spell hit towards phase rush and electrocute but not conqueror stacks.

there is no given explanation in any of the keystone or item tooltips why it should count as a spell hit in one case, but not another. the immolate passive doesnt even keep you in combat with enemy champions for the purpose of holding the conqueror stacks you already built.

the interaction with item 3077 is also weird. the active will count as a spell hit for electrocute, but not phase rush or conqueror.

these intereactions have been weird for a long time, and i thought with the most recent change to spell hits and spell on hits etc. there would be some consistency in the mechanics now. its still entirely arbitrary when one item active or passive counts as a spell hit and when it doesnt.

i havent tested with item 3075 item 3076 yet, as that would require another person.

And now we can toss pets into this mix of "okay these things proc spell effects and a stack for Phase Rush/Electrocute but don't count as a multi-hit spell hit for Conqueror hmmm".

Just a ton of spaghetti inconsistency. I thought the pet change thing was gonna make everything consistent, but the things they interact with were inconsistent too I guess so it only ended up generating the same amount or even more inconsistency.

here is another jank interaction.

item 3077 doesnt count towards procing phase rush on its own, but as soon as you buy item 3071 the active suddenly counts as a spell hit and does proc phase rush.

seriously, wtf.

electrocute requires 3 different instances of damage of any kind

also stuff like sunfire only stack conq once every like 5 seconds

electrocutes and phase rush toolip descriptions are exactly the same.

phase rush

Basic attacks and abilities generate stacks on enemy champions hit, up to one per attack or cast. Applying 3 stacks to a target within a 3 second period grants you ... [phase rush effect]

electrocute

Basic attacks and abilities generate stacks on enemy champions hit, up to one per attack or cast. Applying 3 stacks to a target within a 3 second period causes them ... [electrocute effect]

there is no difference in their triggers, nor an indication why tiamats active should count as a spell hit in one case but not the other. the same goes for conqueror.

as far as the immolate passive goes, the only requirement to gain a conqueror stack should be to hit an enemy with an auto attack or an ability. why does immolate count towards phase rush and electrocute as an ability then, but not towards conqueror?

it does not generate conqueror stacks at all. it doesnt even keep you in combat with enemy champions for the purpose of holding those stacks, which makes no sense.
