Calling all yasuo mains

Hey so I'm a 110k yasuo main and I have some questions to ask, how do you feel about yasuo right now in the current meta? Is he still strong? Is he lacking something? I'm probably just garbage but lately I've been falling off with him and I feel season 5 I was better with him than season 6, also what keystone should I take with him now?

He is still really strong if played well. Even in gold + I still see 4 players going to fight the split pushing Yas and all dying.

I think he's in a fine spot, he has matchups he does well in and those he doesn't, his nerfs from awhile back hurt him but don't make him unplayable

Coming from someone who use to play a lot of Yasuo/Zed in S3-S4, zed/Riven/yasuo/vayne/caitlyn/ezreal main as always, didn't really play the game for a year, I'm a bit rusty

he is definitely still decent. he's not strong unless you can play him well though. this meta is pretty oppressive to him though so if you're in low elo he should be okay.

calling all yasuo mains - we can all agree that yasuo's wind wall should not stop braum's ult, and he and I are petitioning you to put a stop to this.

So please, let's form the coalition to courteously not wind wall a braum ult because it's fucking stupid that it can be windwalled in the first blace item 3070 Braum item 3070

As a NON yasuo main, he definitely feels frustrating to deal with, but deep down I know he has significant weaknesses that give him a poor win rate: He's supposed to be a heavy sustained damage fighter with a lot of mobility, but he gets blown up relatively quickly in a fight.

However, when you fight him 1v1, you realize why he has such a staggering flaw in terms of being squishy (HE KILLS YOU WITH 2 Q SHOTS). This is why people always get tilted when they play against one: they try to duel him. He's basically a mid-lane Master Yi, except he does get punished by building tank items (unlike Yi).

the problem with yasuo is that he is very strong if he's ahead, but if he gets behind he is useless. that wouldn't be a nail in the coffin except lots of the meta picks are strong against yasuo right now...meaning you have a higher probability of getting behind.

Yas is no different than always, if you are good he is stupidly unbearable. If you aren't, you are garbage and deserve to get flamed hard.

He's no different than always but everything around him got stronger this season.

Personally I don't like him as a champion. I think it was really stupid of them to make a manaless champion with virtually no cooldowns. That being said, I also think he's in a bad spot unless you're very good at him. Mediocre Yasuos just don't cut it, but if played well, he's very difficult to stop. He's muscled out of top lane considering the popular champions up there are Malph, Naut, and other beefy tanks that don't care about his high damage. That leaves mid lane since his jungle is pretty bad, and as far as mid lane goes, I think there are better picks.

I've seen people attempt him bot as AD carry.

As someone reaching 600k exp in yasuo, he has been whonked. The days of doing your thing and getting penta are gone. With the adc changes, to the juggernauts, to all the cc being op and stackable, it's gotten rather annoying. People complain about him being strong, but he's so easily countered now. With only one tenacity item in game it makes cc super effect on him, so now you have to sacrifice attack speed and move speed for Mercury treads, even though it still barely adds enough tenacity. But over all it's not like season 4 or 5 were he was well off and balanced, because people keep complaining riot just keep seeking his stats, his core build, basically needing him any chance.

It's not that he's weaker, other champions just got a lot better. Last season his item 3087 power spike was so huge even if you were just farming and didn't get fed. It was huge because not very many champions at all had that big of a spike that soon. From there you could use that power spike to get fed and slingshot yourself into late game as fast as possible. He no longer has that massive power spike WHEN NOT FED, he's become entirely too feast or famine for my taste and as sad as it makes me i've moved on.
