Hypothetically, what if we got rid of Sightstone...

What do you think would happen? Do you think people would lose their minds and the Rift would plunge into chaos? Or, do you think the meta would evolve where individual roles became used to buying/upgrading certain trinkets to help their team win the vision war? Also, since I think it will always be expected of the support to do more than everyone else when it comes to vision, what if there was an option for champions with gold generation items to upgrade trinkets to a third more powerful tier (yellow becoming like the current SS for more ward placement and movement). Just a crazy thought...

Supports would just upgrade the yellow trinket and buy pink wards to clear vision.

I think we'd get a yellow trinket upgrade to make up for it. I've been pushing for that for awhile now.

It would be like season 2, where there wasn't one, except there are trinkets now so not quite the same.

Well, you would pretty much have to give up an item slot to have 3 wards in it at all times, which you would have to buy every time you go back to base, and then another slot for pinks

People like my friend would be very sad because she likes using sightstone and red trinket. People like me would get over it because we like using upgraded yellow and just buy pinks.

Sightstone is an outdated concept from S3 now that trinkets are so much more powerful. Tbh, I wouldn't mind buffing trinkets more with a few changes and just outright remove wards as an item.
