Assassins need a buff, something to help them assassinate the squishies, but not something that will make them go out of control and start killing tanks within 3 seconds. (The Assassin should still win but after like a minute or two)

Over time assassin items have been nerfed due to ADC abusers, this has left the Melee Physical Damage Assassins in a precarious position, especially with the incoming tank meta and changes in items, such as Black Cleaver (BC), Guardian Angel (GA) and the Last Whisper Tree (LW). Right now its extremely easy to counter Assassins items, such as the 1100 gold insurance policy Ninja Tabi, or GA (both versions), with just 30 armour you can counter two extremely expensive items forcing Assassins to buy items like BC & LW, instead of Lethality Items

What I suggest is to increase lethality slightly or Introduce more Lethality items, and reduce Lethality's efficiency on ranged basic attacks so the ad carries can't bully others with them. I also propose a set of changes to the lethality items as well some more items aimed at AD Melee Assassins

item 3147 lowered cost by 100, lowered damage on passive, imposes the** Silence **for (2) seconds

item 3142 increased cost by 250, add a item 1036 to recipe, Active: 40% movespeed and slow resistance which decays to 20% over 3 seconds and you can Ghost through units, the duration is the same as current.

item 3814 cost increase by 50, The effect is fine currently, just change in stats so the focus is on the damage. lowering the MR by 5 to in favor of 5 AD,

item 3071 Gouging War Scythe. item 3044 + item 3133 3150 gold, 65 AD, 200 health, 10% CDR, Melee Only. Basically a BC analogue for Assassins but doesn't stack with it due to same Unique passive. It stacks three times, and works similarly to Lethality. suggested formula (4 + 6 / 18 * Opponent's level)

Sharks Teeth item 3134 + item 3144 3150 Gold, 60 AD, 15% Physical Damage Heal, 15 Lethality. Deals 100 Magic damage + 150% Lethality Physical Damage. Slows and Grounds for 2 seconds.

Well that's it. There is my opinion. (I'm expecting lots of Hate)

No, an assassin should not win against a tank.

Assassins already have the best mobility and escape mechanisms.

Some assassins even have good poke and even top-level burst. WTF more do you want.... a good number of them are manaless too.

Tanks shouldnt be losing 1v1 to assassins assuming both are equal in gold. This goes for (by the boards definition) tanks and tank-ey champs. Neither should lose and it doesnt matter how long it takes. Assassins shouldnt be losing 1v1s to there intended targets and should be able to do damage to actually kill squishies assuming gold is equal.

Duskblade silence is a no Many assassins used to have silences and they took them out. And if ad assassjns go a silence image how op they would be especially compared to ap. And i cant even imagin the abuse from adcs and juggernauts.

But yes assassins kinda suck rn
