The truth about support champions

Hallbuster··2 votes·407 views

It's basically this, a support is as good as their team. "They can't carry" but they can "help" someone carry. This is the big misunderstanding that people have, regarding support. But let's be honest here, if the score for your team is 5 vs 20, there's is nothing you can really do.

Anyone that once said, "supports can win games", is just spouting nonsense!

Supports can win games. What they can't do is perform acts of god.

You weren't looking at Ranked >:(, Annie is the only champ I main now with a KDA of 10.8 / 6.6 / 10.4 and a 76% win-rate!

As for the other champions, I stopped playing them so whatever garbage scores I had on them will stay.

I kind of agree for 7 reasons

  1. Lack of GP/items
  2. Lack of XP/levels
  3. Power, both in kits and items, tends to be more multiplicative than additive
  4. They tend to lack wave clear and split push potential
  5. There's limits to what a support can do by himself to stall out games to buy his team time to come back.
  6. One of their primary functions: vision, needs teamwork and jungle control
  7. Supports basically have less time to carry than the rest of the team as they spent the first part of the game donating XP and Gold to an ally.
