Am I the only one who would have loved to see the Shyvana experimental ult change go through?

If you're not quite sure what I'm talking about Shyvana had an experimental ability changes on 4/29/15 one on her E and another on her ultimate. I'm focused on only the ultimate change and thought it was a great addition to her and I'm not sure why it didn't stay. I think the ultimate should stay the way is currently though with shyvana lunging forward into battle but in her dragon form, once she activates her W the big flaming ring comes around her and all who are inside are trapped unless they want to take a risk of heavy damage to escape (this ONLY happens when in dragon form) this gives shyvana better teamfight potential and aoe control she's probably be played a bit more now. What do you guys think?
