If you have changes in the pipelines for Sona, PLEASE do one thing

Make her more difficult or have a higher skillcap

And it really feels that her low difficulty is the core problem of her ( doing well without knowing jack anything, invisible power ect... ) If she is ever a higher tier champion, it's a problem due to how easy she is to do everything she needs to and little effort is put into her playstyle If she is in a bad spot, she is terrible against organized players because her weaknesses are so massive, and is okay against solo queue players

How are they going to make her more difficult when supports like Blitz and Thresh (who zone you with their existence) exist?

Or ones like Soraka and Alistar who are (in my opinion) even more brainless, though at least Soraka has a skillshot. Alistar gets to click people for 2-3 seconds of CC and outheals Sona by far.

alistar doesnt come close to out healing sona. Alistar doesnt ever have as much cdr/ap/mana as sona. Alistars heal only does half heal to allies. Sonas does bonus 1% missing to allies. Sonas gives a pretty broken shield WITH the heal. Sonas can lower enemy damage with power chord ie spamable exhaust. Sonas is triple the range.

110 heal at max lvl to allies with xtra .5 for each 1% missing health for sona and shield. 90 heal at max with ali with none of the buffs besides true aoe.

I agree with the rest of this post though.

Broken? please don't exaggerate lol

Frankly, I like the battle style 'reaction' heal/shield, but they don't feel satisfying to use for how much mana it costs, especially at early ranks. I understand the point that she's not SUPPOSED to be good at it, but she really shouldn't be shit at it either. I'd rather they just focused on one or the other if they're not going to make it a solid, cohesive ability.

80 mana for a 40~ heal at rank one with a 45~ shield that lasts barely more than a second is really, really not that great.

They made Soraka too difficult, so Sona is now babby's first support. It's important for some champions in the game to be simple to learn and use well because new players need ways to learn the different roles.

Sona will always be easy, which means she will always be weak, and Riot prefers it that way.

But it's not exactly fair for that champion to be mediocre at best elsewhere

the funniest part is people dont realize how overloaded sona is in team fights when you know how to position correctly and not get focused. Definitely not weak in anyway if you know how to abuse the "never get locked down" part of playing sona. By far easiest champ for me to get to mastery 5

Also, Sona isn't particularly weak. She's not great against the current meta supports, but when the meta changes she'll be totally fine because she still does the things that she's supposed to do incredibly well.

I don't think she should be inherently difficult, seeing as she is somewhat of a recommended starter-ish type of champ. But I do like the idea of her being complex in terms of her skill ceiling.
