I guess Lux's E is a bit different since there's a reason not to detonate immediately but these kinds of changes usually don't do that much good, especially when she was perfectly playable anyways.

should just keep buffing the passive if you insist tbh

Lux's E being comparatively worse to other things isn't as bad either since her ult is so powerful and so readily available; I assumed that her ult being up every minion wave late-game had a bigger trade-off in the E.

Lux was and is hell to fight against. But people don't want to remember and just play their champion that is already in a balanced state. So they want her E to be completely undodgeable without mobility. Back to the land of 1000+ Range assassinations.....Sigh

IIRC, she was FOTM in the S2 finals. She fell off S3 with the introduction of Zed, which is when Ori/Ahri got popular (since zed was permabanned).

Ori has always been popular in worlds because she is so damn consistent and safe. Ahri has been off and on popular. Usually having to do specifically with numbers. When she has good numbers she is over powered and played heavily which leads to nerfs which makes her have weak numbers and basically never played. She is like old kassadin in that she would be seen once or twice a season because of how good she can be.

She was highly contested in season 2 worlds. Azubu frost dominated with her almost every single game. I think she fell out of favor in season 3 when zed became big.

thinking of it, lowering her Es instant damage but increaseing it iver time like Gragas Q would actually be a great change, it would lower the prettymuch no counterplay poke, but increase Es zoneing potential aswell as the synergie with her binding, and it would help her waveclear, which is kinda her weak spot unless she uses her ult for it.

i think it would rather redifine her role as controle/sniping mage, useing E as zone controll rather than cheap poke while providing some cc with Q and the huge shield for cooridnated fights, yet beeing able to burst down a squishy target if she lands the snare.

Right now, she's a bit off all, poke, snipe, controll, but outclassed a bit by xerath as snipe/poke and by ziggs as controll/poke, snipe/controll would be a proper niche to fill for her.

I completely agree with this. Feels too much like it's copying Grag but oh well. Context would be the lucent singularity is absorbing all the nearby light into a singular point before bursting.
