I think I know the perfect Renekton buffs to put him back in line

Q cooldown scales with level, so it goes down the later the ranks go.

Empowered Q base heal nerfed in exchange for it healing for 6%missing health, capping at 30% if he hits 5 champions. No missing HP heal if it hits minions.

R now gives Renekton 50 more AA range(like Nasus).

Base movespeed nerfed by 5.

HP per level slightly increased(5 extra)

Base AD lowered but has a higher scaling, exceeding old self at level 7 onwards.

E armor% shred removed but instead "cuts off their defenses" having them be dealt 15% more physical damage for 3 seconds.

Thoughts? Not all of them are good(E looks hella strong, Q might be strong).

Feedback is appreciated.

Q is just a faster moving darius Q then

Yea that's what I was thinking, I had another thought.

Empowered Q has the same max heal when over 50% health, loses some base for missing health below 50% health.

What do you think about that?

you have it all right except his Q

Renekton isn't supposed to stack health and spam Q. He is supposed to build AD+CDR in order to heal and do damage and being tanky from building AD.

he needs his Q cap to be deleted against champions

Its for his ult, a buff to his ult and Q.

Most renektons buy 2 or 3 health items(randuins spirit visage is what I see) then factor in the 800 health from ult, quite strong.

I don't think Renekton is in a bad spot, I think the reworked champions need a lil more toning down rather than buffing a champion that has been balanced for patches +

I believe only his ult needs buffs.

The AA range and maybe make it scale with % HP instead of AP.

I personally believe that Renekton is fine, but because of the new Juggernauts he gets shadowed. Last time I faced against the new Darius with Renek I rekt him.

He doesn't need THAT much buffing. He's still a lane menace and his early game dueling and fighting with his ult is still quite good. His problem comes in that late game he can blow everything on someone and whether he's ulted or not it doesn't seem to make much of a difference, he becomes bland, easy to read, and has low impact.

But that's just it, that's his weakness, long games. Atm the meta favors games drawn out a bit more, where as Renekton has always been hella strong early game and at helping teams finish earlier, so he just doesn't really fit the current meta. Buffing him too much, even if it's just for the late game, will potentially just make him too strong, since his early game is still pretty damn good.
