And his burst is absolutely insane. At least with Zed, you have some time to react before the mark detonates.

You know sona's winrate is around 53% yet people still think she needs buffs. Win-rates alone are a terrible measure of game balance. Also, 51% is not even in the top 50 champions, why nerf based on that? You have to account for play percentage, when a champion is played in only 3% of games, like talon, the winrate is much less indicative of success than a champion that is played more often.
For example: compare talon's 3% play rate and 51% winrate to sona's 6% play rate with a 53% win rate. Sona's win rate vs play rate correlation hold's much more ground because she has a much larger sample of games to draw from, practically twice the amount in fact. Neither should be nerfed, just giving you a little perspective. Also, not complaining about sona, just used her as a random example.

He's sitting at an even 50% win rate with a 3.6% pick rate and a .4% ban rate.....Let's make this clear... Zac has a higher ban rate than Talon and win rate. I guess we should nerf Zac right?

All of Zac's abilities can be dodged. If you get hit by his slingshot, it's your own fault. You can't dodge Talon. He just points and clicks on you and you die.

So because you lost to a Talon who is subpar right now you want him nerfed more than he already is? I can get fed as Talon in a game and still not carry because of the recent changes and indirect nerfs. Zed on the other hand can carry a game with his insane back door, wave clear and safety. So please do tell how Talon is better than Zed?

JayenKei3 votesAs a mid laner buy zhonya? He has crappy early game (especially with crystalline gone) abuse him pre-6? If you have seekers by 6 then he can't burst you to death unless you're low Don't use a stun, snare, etc until Talon jumps on you. This means don't get baited by Talon's that walk up to you to bait out that one cc you have ie. ahri's charm, brands q, etc. Talon always ends up behind the person he jumps onto so just aim your skillshot backwards and you'll more often than not get him

51% winrate is because Talon mains are really the only ones playing him. Besides that he's a niche pick. When preseason started Talon actually sported a ~46-47% winrate...

Okay, you lost to a Talon in lane recently in one game. Get over it.
Talon is weak at the moment. He has no escapes in a fight if he uses his ultimate to initiate or to deal damage. His early game is terrible with the removal of Crystalline Flask. It isn't until late game that he becomes a force to delete your carries and with games finishing quicker, it often doesn't get that far. If he is carrying the entire team from start to finish it's because your mid laner had a poor terrible game. He needs buffs to his early game to enable him to be a competitive pick.

Actually, he does have counter play. Any mid laner with a stun and acceptable burst (annie, syndra, brand) Have a very real possibility to destroy him, AND from a distance at that. Fizz can dodge his entire burst for the most part and could care less. In the late game if he gets CCed, ever, he WILL die and accomplish nothing. It is almost impossible for him to carry games. Zed does comparable damage, and is 5x safer to use because he can jump around with his shadows.
Comparing him to zed is a really dumb idea because that would be equal to you saying "After talon uses cutthroat, he can re position himself back to where he ported from" Which he absolutely can not do. He's hardly viable, stop trying to argue the fact and accept how stupid you are.

Your so called "counter play" applies to all champions. Not just Talon. You can CC literally ANY champion in this game and they're going to get wrecked.
And there's a reason why I compare him to Zed. Yes their burst is comparable. But the difference is Zed's isn't instant. You have some time to react before the mark detonates, so you can either fight back or run away. And if you have Zhonyas you can even block the damage with the active. Maybe if you had more experience playing this game, you'd realize there's more to assassins than just repositioning abilities. So please stop posting nonsense. And stop flaming people. It doesn't prove your point.

For someone who plays a lot of Kayle, saying he has "no counterplay" is very, very rich.

Cloud2731 votesEven if he falls behind, he's always relevant because of his stealth and insane AOE damage. This is why Talon needs to be nerfed. No matter how behind he gets, his damage is always relevant. Unless you have a stealth ward 100% of the time, he always gets his burst off, and there's nothing you can do about it.
