Matchmaking so bad can tell team going to lose based on pregame lobby chat

Your match making is so poor and predictable I can tell 90% of the time when team going to lose based on pregame lobby chat. Like.... today I knew I was fucked in both my games but I had to play them out because I was in promos so I can't dodge so might as well risk it.

So how I know I had auto losses?

  1. In promos so chance of match making fuckery are doubled.
  2. Teammates bitching about teammates picks and calling them noobs. Instantly know this person sucks and is about to feed their ass off.

What happens? Both games..... the players who start complaining about teammates picks (like hardcore complaining) feed their asses off. Well.... game 1 the dude fed so hard it was unwinnable. Game 2 guy started feeding but was like 4-4 so started to bring it back and then just left the game 15ish mins in and never came back......

This season is already the most boring season I have ever played in playing this game over 8 years probably 9 actually. Never have I once hated the game until this season. Finally.... after months I am starting to adjust to this terrible meta and new gameplay and starting to rank up. But .... all the same shit match making problems are there. Honestly.... season 9 changes might fixed rank mming somewhat although the whole rank per role thing sounds like it going to fuck the whole system up. I mean... it might over the coarse of the season so like.... in September make games better but until then it going to just be the same as it is now. New ranked tier in low elo might be the one actual saving grace. I been bitching about this shit since season 4 happy you guys finally starting to listen. Too bad its towards the end of this game's life.

At least I am sticking to my no longer pay your crap company money. Unfortunately I did buy some RP at start of 2018 before realizing how terrible this season actually was. Huge regret of mine. Happy to say I am sticking clean of buying RP since. I can't even imagine spending anymore money on this game. Maybe like... mid to end of season 9 the game might not be complete crap and then maybe I will. But at this point I will not hold my breath.

Fuck this game - a dude who has wasted way to much of his life playing such a terrible game. If only I listened to all my friends over the years who quit back in season 3 - 4 :(((((((((((((((

Op.gg them at champ select. When you see that 45% winrate over 300 games, that's when you know you're fucked.

Might as well not play at all then.

Everyone I've been grouped up with in ranked has been ~1:21 : 1 K:D and autofilled or straight up horrendous.

By the time the jungler gets his second buff he's 0-2

By the time you do your first recall he's 0-5 and complaining in all chat or quitting.

50% chance of winning is a lie, you either outperform so much it doesn't matter or straight up lose.

2 good players never get matched together ever.

I wish it was as high as 45%. I have a knack for getting folks with 30-40% win rates. Hell, my last game most of my team had 50% or higher win rates and still were horrible. Malphite afk farmed top and had a vision score of 1 at 20 minutes. mid tf died to akali non stop the entire game till she ended up like 20/3 and killing the three squishies on the team under our mid base turret. The support brand died 5 times in the first 10 minutes. It was a clown fiesta of epic proportions.

That's what happens when everybody is put into silver. The games aren't about skill. They are about getting lucky with matchmaking. Riot has removed the skill from the game in solo queue.

that's basically me this season. well... at 200 now.... The thing is though I would almost welcome players with those win rates this season. It sounds fucked but.... some of the best players I have played with this season in low elo have been players with low win rates. Why? Because they are veteran players who are used to playing the game as strong individuals rather than this new team up as a death ball and get carried bullshit. I can play around a bunch of vets who are used to playing solo carry to win more than I can these new "I was stuck in silver 5 for 4 seasons but now I am gold 5 even though I haven't learned anything new in this game" bs players.

LIke honestly.... besides smurfs most of the players I have seen with high win rates have been some of the worst players in the games. Its so fucked up lol. Like... sometimes after a game I will look at players ranks and think "o wow that player was playing well" and they will be prior season mid gold this season like silver 3 with 44% win rate. Then I will look at the dude with 54% win rate will have been silver 4 last 4 seasons and who played like shit but plays like Malphite and just constantly groups with team at end and insant kills enemies with his ult while building full tank. Ask him what a split push is or... just any other basic about the game and they have no idea. But they know how to group and use malphite ult so.... who the fuck cares right? lmfao.

I'd say I can predict the game outcome from comp 70% of the time, if there is complaining it goes up to ~80% and then after 5+ kills you should know 95% accurately how the game will end.

Even if what you say is true, how do you expect riot to build a matchmaker around pre game chat...before the chat has even happen?

The problem comes from that teammate just being a lower rank. There is always 1 person who is just not the same level as everyone else. And in this season.... that's a huge disadvantage. It has always been a disadvantage but now it's like... an extreme disadvantage.

Season 9 ranked changes will help address this most likely. I would argue reducing overall damage in game would minimize the effects of this as well. New runes have created power creep like the game has never seen before. Even a season ago players would not die nearly as quickly as they do now. Like now... if you literally get it by a stun/snare... and there even just like 1-2 enemy players around you are probably dead. Like... think about that.... within 1.5 to 2 seconds you probably dead. In the past... you could die to this but enemies would have to be extremely far ahead. Now.... they can just be same item level as you and blow you up. Damage creep is just beyond insane. It just feels so bad playing this game these days because of how much damage creep there is. Haven't seen Riot ever even mention it being a thing yet. That's how out of touch they are with their game.
