How do you deal with Shaco?

All my suffered losses were partly caused by this one champion. I've read the LoL wiki, and already know his basic techniques, but still can't win.

Watch out for when he clones, it's a flash that turns him invisible. It's also helpful to bring a sweeping lens or control ward to disable the boxes that he places and that get dropped by his ult. keep in mind that if you run away from him he does bonus damage

Play safe early and don't feed him is the biggest thing. Farm close to your tower, don't push the wave, and ward strategic points. Do these 3 things for ~15 minutes and Shaco is useless (assuming the rest of your team does the same).

This is probably the best thing I could have done, it sucks to turret farm with Vladimir though.

Blue trinkets or other vision methods to track where he is, or isn't. If you know he's on the other side of the map, he won't be ganking your lane in the immediate future.
