Why doesn't Rumble's Flamespitter draw minion aggro?

Abilities drawing aggro was added to stop champions from sitting on the wave and using ranged harass to deny their opponent. This ability is the worst offender of this.

So all you have to do is sit in the wave and Rumble can't farm/push anymore without drawing minion aggro? That's kind of harsh.

its not a point-click action to use

Wtf? That doesn't matter. If you use anything minions should attack you. Darius q isn't p/c but if you land they attack you. Even nasus e. And i could go on and on.

That's not how this works.

Neither Darius Q nor Nasus E draw minion aggro. I don't know why you think they do. AoE spells in general don't draw minion aggro. If you really think they do, then please provide video proof.

AOE spells have never caused minion aggro. What you might be remembering is that in patch 8.2 they made it so targeted spells like Cass E, Kat E, Kat initial Q, Ryze W, E, etc. all cause minion aggro.

If you're standing in your minion wave and Rumble Q's you in it, just back off and let the wave reach your tower. Rumble is very easy to gank.

You've never played against a Rumble main. He stands behind your caster minions and Flamespitters in your direction, so he's not hitting the minions, and only briefly turns for one tick to last hit.

Even if he's not doing that, he still turns away until you're in range, so he's not pushing more than he needs to.

because minions love burning to death ofc.

Geez, you fed the ever living shit out of that Rumble lol and he still lost :/

So every aoe spell should draw minion aggro? If not, why should it be close range Rumbles Q?
