So how are people feeling about the new mana changes?

So far all I've seen are people complaining about their ruined champs or such and such, but no real discussion about how Mana changes have worked out. I'm personally in the category that really likes them, especially since they gave Morelleonomicon the ability to restore 20% of mana on kill or assist.

I liked the old mage items, some of the champion reworks, though I don't agree with many, they are for the most point fine and will balance out soon. The mage items on the other hand I really dislike, not only the mana problems but also the fact that ap mids don't really have to make a choice for survivability, damage, cdr, etc anymore. Fizz for example can go lichbane, zhonyas, abyssal, and cdr boots and be cdr capped with a build he would normally have before. Now he doesn't have to decide ok do I want the safety of zhonyas or the safety of being more slipper with more troll poles and q's from higher cdr. Now he like so many mages get the best of all worlds without having to choose anything to sacrifice.

I feel like I've been running out of mana more and I've been seeing posts by people who play really mana heavy champs and have also been running out of mana.

I have only played the Mage supports so it's hard to tell.

I actually replaced my Mr/level blues and CDR/level blues with mana regen / level blues. Even with the highest base mana regen, they act as a 50% boost. With Lissandra having the lowest mana regen, they act as nearly a 100% boost.

Also, Ryze who probably benefits most from the RoA change is in the bottom 10 for win rate today.

The item changes to RoA, tear/AA, and zhonyas was absolute trash. Those items were fine, but Riot just nerfed them seemingly randomly. They should have kept all the old items the same and simply introduced the new ones.

If the AD itemization changes received the same kind of treatment the MYMU did, PD would only give you AS when you were hit, IE would have its AD nerfed and its crit damage passive reduced to 10% bonus damage, AD would be nerfed on nearly every single item except for ER, and every item change would give you some useless passive while gutting the stats.
