So, the Veigar changes.
Veigar, one of the squishiest and immobile champions in the game with a position heavy stun had it nerfed by giving off a .75 second delay to let enemies know "WALK OUT" before it even pops up. A champion who's entire existence has only ever been to punish AP mid champions for building AP and letting him snowball out of control.
Sure, he was probably the strongest burst mage potentially in the game for the longest time, but here's the thing. Mobility and LC$ now rule League of Legends like an iron fist. Veigar was nerfed because he was big in Korea as a Support with his playpen, which is pretty irrelevant as far as NA players are concerned because we operate on a seperate meta. Kassadin was nerfed because he was "too mobile" even though each consecutive use of his Void Walk ramped up the mana cost.
Honest opinion?
Veigar got nerfed because of his ability to shut down the "BIG PLAYS" that Riot keeps going for with the LCS since they don't want League to turn into a "boring farm fest". Yet ironically, Irelia hasn't had meaningful nerfs in 3 years. Good job Morello.
