Two New Item Ideas [Marksmen and Mages]

So both these items are going to do essentially the same thing just with different stats to compliment each role, and the main goal for these item ideas is so that they can kill high health targets easier.

Infinite Demise: Cost: B.F. Sword(1550g) + Vampiric Scepter(800g) + Cloak of Agility(730g) + 720g = 3800g Stats: 80 Attack Damage + 10% Lifesteal + 20% Critical Strike Chance + UNIQUE Passive: Critical strikes deal 8% of the target's maximum health as bonus physical damage if the target's maximum health is over 2500 health.

Rabadon's Deathboot: Cost: Needlessly Large Rod(1600g) + Blasting Wand(860g) + 840g = 3300g Stats: 120 Ability Power + UNIQUE Passive: Ignore 25% of the target's bonus magic resistance. + UNIQUE Passive: Every 100 magic damage dealt will deal an additional 1% of the target's maximum health as bonus magic damage if the target's maximum health is over 2500 health.

Short clarification for Rabadon's Deathboot, if a nuke has a base damage of 280 and deals an additional 220 in the ability power ratio then that nuke will deal 500 plus 5% of the target's maximum health all in magic damage if the target has at least 2500 health as his maximum health. Also the gold costs match the highest damage dealing items for each role which are Infinity Edge for marksmen and Rabadon's Deathcap for mages to say that these items are suppose to be high tier items but only high tier items in certain circumstances and cannot be rushed in most games seeing that people do not get 2500 health until late game hits and the alternative items like trinity, blade, IE, deathcap, DFG will deal more damage to every one and these two items deal high damage to tankier targets once they actually get tanky. Another reason why the gold costs differ to each corresponding item is because 1340g combine cost is an absurd amount, it can happen, but isn't really needed and it better to avoid high combine costs like those.

So why dont u just use liandry's or BORK against hp tanks like you are supposed tothey both deal % max hp damage or the activation on deathfire... liandry's even has mage pen

Those items deal current % health- maximum health will be strong no matter at what health the target is at- blade and liandry's will not at all get out shined by these items, these items are meant to be built as last items or even replace certain items like blade or DFG specifically so you can kill super tanks like mundo or maokai better, and seeing that assassination attempts are not possible choices in the late game you can buy DFG early and sell it much later to keep your damage relevant late game (my Rabadon's Deathboot idea will greatly help under played mages like Brand out a lot and possibly help him see gameplay without seeing any changes to him at all)

No... Too many stats + OP passives. You can make an item with high AD, decent Lifesteal, moderate crit chance, and % health. If an item like that existed the only smart option for ever AD champion would be to build 2 of those and they instantly have late game damage, huge lifesteal, high crit chance and tank shred passive. The only stat missing would be attack speed. Two of those items + 1 Runnan's would be the equivalent of a 6 item current ADC.

First off, stacking the item is too gold inefficient, the stats are gold efficient if you include the passive The passive only procs off of critical damage and is not on-hit so hurricane can never work with this item as the bolts cannot critically strike Anyways, all BF items have 80AD so it is equal footing with other BF items, the other lifesteal options are 3200 3400 3500 gold, and 3800 gold is the most expensive item you can get which IE's passive is still better plus you will have an item that is situational and is actually completely useless against low defense champions since the item's passive is directly directed at tanky champions anyways, the point to the item is that you get it much later in the game after you have your core items to make you hit harder with your crits against tanks- plus this may help out low skilled players with teaching them to focus the tank when they play as backline roles

AD, Lifesteal, and Crit. That's (almost) everything an adc needs on one item. This would become another IE - that is, core on every marksman - which in turn would decrease build diversity. You'd see every marksman run IE/ID/LW/Boots (or zephyr)/AS item (PD/shiv/TF)/Defensive item.

Same thing with the Deathboot - AP and penetration? Who even cares about the passive, every mage will run this item, to0, and basically every mage will start running Deathboot + Void Staff + Rabadon's + Sorc + Athenes + (situational), and shredding through tanks like they're butter.

Even if it was built every game I am fine with, the cost is equal to IE so even if the item is considered equal to IE I am fine with, IE is still more damage regardless though and both items scale with your crit chance- but you will not build Infinite Demise second because of its gold cost, you will still either go shiv IE or IE shiv then LW and then you can get infinite demise when champions actually have enough health from levels and items so the passive can kick in- i was thinking of leaving the crit chance at 15% but 15% crit seemed really underwhelming for a 3800gold item and without the vamp scepter into the build the item will never get bought cause you need your lifesteal item as your 4th item- the crit chance can go down to 15% though, but this item can never get bought early because it is useless early to mid game plus the gold cost makes the item not realistic to buy early game.

ignores bonus magic resistance not total, so it is much weaker than flat pen and void staff as these ignore total magic resistance, i want the item to deal with high MR and high health targets for mages while making sure it doesn't overwhelm DFG, deathcap, or void staff--- outside of the high tier 120AP the item is useless compared to hourglass, dcap, DFG unless the target champion has bought a significant amount of MR and health

tl;dr : These items are most effective as 4th items after your "holy trinity" of core items of grail, dcap, void and shiv/IE, IE/shiv, LW -- i made sure the item cannot work on everyone and can only work against champions that have bought a giant's belt item and have significant levels on them

tl;dr : yes, the items are strong items which is why they are both the most expensive items in each corresponding role

Even if it was built every game I am fine with.

Why would you be fine with that? Even if it's not a rushed item, it's still an item that every marksman will buy, which decreases item diversity. Having a variety of build paths, is a very good thing, and this would work against it.

ignores bonus magic resistance not total, so it is much weaker than flat pen and void staff as these ignore total magic resistance.

Here's what the problem is. With Sorc shoes + void staff + Deathboot, you ignore 25% bonus MR, 40% total MR, and 15 flat MR.

At level 18, Garen has 52.5 innate MR.

With Visage, Banshees, and Scaling MR runes, he'll get another 55 + 55 + 27 = 137 MR, so that's a total of 189.5 MR.

25% off the bonus brings the bonus to 102.75. Add the 52.5 innate and he's at 155.25 effective MR.

Now add in void staff and he's got 93.15 MR. Now sorc shoes, and he has 78.15 MR.

With these items, you've cut Garen's effective MR more than in half.

What this means is that building MR, basically isn't effective against you any more. What will happen is that mages will build this item and shred everybody.

Remember old xerath? The one who just spammed spells because it didn't matter who he hit, he was going to shred them anyway? That's what every mage will be like, with this item.

If it didn't give 100 AP, there would be a trade-off: I get to shred tank MR, but can't pop squishies as easily. At 100 AP, this item is effective against everybody.

What this means, in turn, is that mages who can use Deathboot will become OP, and everybody else will fall out of the meta.

That's really not what I want.
