As much as some people aren't embracing it (trust me guys, there are actually some good counters to Challenging Smite Cinderhulk Top. EDIT: And also, Cinderhulk being so popular is in part due to Bami's Cinder being a good stepping stone up to it but also because Sunfire isn't all that worth getting, nor was it before CInderhulk was even a thing.), Cinderhulk has added diversity to the Top Lane, Jungle and Support roles. Hell, even Taric Top Works now. Just this morning I played Alistar Jungle for the first time since Season 2 pre-gutting.

Yeah the problem right now is cinderhulk is way better than the other 3 bungler enchants in most cases. It would be nice if magus and devourer got a little love.

only a hand full of champs can sacrifice flash just to get smite. (namely Shyvana and Hecarim) If your opponent isn't one of these two, chain gank the hell out of them. Even if they are shyvana or Herc, do your best to deny them early.

Because Cinderhulk's power is in the late game. you need to deny them early and snowball from their. Also don't let them anywhere near your camps. If they start counter Jungling your camps your pretty much fragged.

well if my toplaner has darius, sure i can gank him but if he has vlad or so, i cant do anything except try and steal his jungle so smite doesnt help him too much. well. at least thats in diamond. dunno how people do it in challenger ;D

I think people need to be more aware of a champions power spikes, what champions can counter those who would farm for late game.

Aside from Vlads inability to push out Herc/shyvanan early game, Vlad is still vulnerable earlygame himself, against lane bullies who can all in him before he can sustain himself. He could probably do Ok against a Maokai, or a Sion, But I would not pick vladamir blind.

sure but people dont use their brains, they pick whatever has been played in lcs that day. and i mean, "powerspikes" is some random word not even all lcs players know what it means. let alone soloQ players.

I believe that cinderhulk has pushed some champions out of the jungle. It needs toning down, but overall I like it.

Who got pushed out? Everyone who was viable pre-Cinderhulk is still viable now except Jarvan and that's largely because he took quite a big nerf to the face. Vi, Rek'Sai, Nidalee and Lee Sin are all still big presences and they were the only viable junglers before Cinderhulk.

Cinderhulk has added a ton of diversity to the jungle and has done nothing to push anyone out.

I like the concept of cinderhulk and Bami's Cinder, but it has destroyed top lane in my opinion. If anything the diversity has gone down in my opinion because of how the item works. Damage top laners are incredibly risky, if even playable now, other than the odd riven, and the item in general favors only tanks. People like Olaf while they can get it, it is lack luster, while on Mundo or SHyv, you would get it anyway.

All I see is tanks now, and it isn't that much fun anymore because if you aren't playing tanks or people on the verge of being a tank, rather than a dedicated bruiser, say Olaf, Jax, because they simply have no way to beat that item.

To each his own I guess.

Yes, you could do that, or you could appreciate that we're no longer dealing with the same thing every single game because cinderhulk rattled the meta.

There are a lot of people who are unhappy about it, but I agree that Cinderhulk has done some great things for the meta (most importantly allowing tanks to actually be tanks again).

It'll probably get nerfed again though because there's a lot of rage about it right now. Let's enjoy a metagame with viable tanks while we can.
