Ranked MMR should be translated to normals

Ranked MMR should be translated to normals * /r/leagueoflegends

So basically what happens is that high MMR people who want to practice new champs get matchmade with silver or bronze players. And it ruins the experience for both sides- these people can't get a good practice off, at the same time stomping whatever comes their way. If this is to be implemented, the unranked (normal) MMR shoud be affected by any MMR alterations in ranked, that means with each new ranked game. Thoughts?

So make people with High MMR face other people with high MMR learning a new champion...

Or a really good normal only player against bad players, because his ranked mmr is trash

Ok its kinda both...

say i've never played illoai before, I obviously dont' want to play against people of my skill level. HOWEVER, if i'm an OK illoai, where I can stomp normals with her, but I lose in ranked with her... Then I like the post's idea.

You do want to play people from your skill level, because no one is going to be playing normals and tryharding. And even if they did, you would learn much more from getting beaten, than stomping some poor 1200 MMR casual player who doesn't even know what Illaoi does.

you also have to know that I'm most likely not tryharding...

Trying my best every game is exausting so i just make plays without thinking, and for all you know they could end up terrible. Even with my terrible mmr in normals, I don't always do well because I am not tryharding (as you just stated)

because no one is going to be playing normals and tryharding

Only if they play ranked more than normals.

If people play normals more than ranked, the opposite thing tends to happen. Which can result in a lot of people doing 1st-time champions in ranked, because it's lower MMR and easier to test it out.

Ofc high MMR people from ranked play ranked more than normals. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to reach that high ranked MMR, would they?

Or have it the way it is right now: High MMR people stomping the living shit out of mostly unranked, casual normal players, who are AS WELL learning new champions?
