Proposed quality of life change to hextech crafting for season 7

Allow players to convert 1 chest into 1 key or 1 key into 1 chest. I know hextech crafting is something FREE that Riot is giving players but it gets really frustrating when I'm sitting on 4 chest and can't get a single key fragment for over a week (due to drop rates.) I know other player are having the same frustration in reverse (having tons of keys but no chests.) Allowing people to convert chests into keys or vice versa would solve this issue and couldn't really be abused.

well riot would bake less money so it probably wont happen

A key to a chest would make it way easier to get tons of chests in a month i think it is good right now

How so? Key drops become rarer and rarer the more keys fragments you get in a given month. Most people get less than 12 key fragments a month which only makes 4 keys which is how many chests you can get in a month anyway. Converting one of your Keys to a Chest would mean that you'd only have 3 keys and 5 chests. Converting keys to chests only helps people who have small champion pools and can't get chests.

Are you confusing keys with key fragments? My proposal was to have 1 KEY (i.e. 3 key fragments) be traded for 1 chest.
