I just realized there are only a few limited mixed damage champs left in the game

And when I say this I mean champs that do both physical and magic at the same time and also champs that build mixed items. Now granted there are many champs that can go and do a completely different build, like say full AP or , but I'm more or less discussing about champs whose primary build is mixed damage or do mixed damage.

The only champs that come to mind that still do this (and I might be missing a few so forgive me) are: and current

I'm not saying Riot should immediately start putting in mixed damage champs in the game but what happened to them? Most champs I see now, are released, or reworked as only AD, mostly AD with some AP, fully AP, mostly AP with some AD, tank or support. Hell Eve is apparently losing her AD scaling for full AP just to prove my point.

Isn't that the point, though? Ideally they should be harder to build against, but their dps should fall off compared to straight AD/AP counterparts due to their inability to build effective penetration...

Like, lane bullies. Or tank busters.

Basically a discounted version of true damage's purpose.

The problem is that their DPS doesn't fall off, probably due to being unable to be built against.

Koggy and Kayle are incredibly powerful hypercarries.

Shhhh, we don't know what they're doing with Eve. Nobody said it was going away, we just can't be 100% sure what the Eve rework is going to look like.

No a Rioter said they're removing her AD scaling. I can't remember who or where it was but they definitely confirmed that.

I mean, if you're counting Ashe solely for her ult, many champions do have some form of magic damage thrown in their kit (like Jinx E) but I really don't think they count as being hybrid damage dealers. Champions like Ez and Shaco (pending Shaco hasn't had too many weird changes recently, I don't really keep track) do seem to fit into this hybrid area though. They have multiple abilities dealing magic damage, and multiple abilities with attack damage.

I'd like to see a few more silences, resist reduction , taunts, near sights, fears, charms, and a sleep mechanic would be cool if added. I don't think hybrid damage just cause is that interesting. The only thing really interesting about it is build possibilities.

Any melee ap with a gapclose can do a cheese duskblade/shiv burst that incorporates a lot of physical burst into their combo.

Duskblade is good on Eve. You use the AD CDR Lethality, damage proc and slow really well.

It's really a gamble. For one, both items are cheap. Both have a proc burst, and note that shiv will actually amplify your AA damage by a crit (on top of critting its own proc), and you already have AD on duskblade. If Shiv had cost more, maybe. Assuming you never ever crit, it won't be worth it but if you land one, you get a nuke right there.

Only time it's good is when you hit the Proc as you crit. Otherwise with duskblade + shiv you will become the one blown up. You will kill people faster spending that 2600 on sheen and revolver

It's fun. But not effective.

Not a stretch for that to happen though, especially if you game the current crit system on 30%, you can kind of prep for it. Like I said, a gamble.

Jax Corki Evelynn KogMaw and kind of Ezreal are the only remaining Hybrid champions, and it's sage to presume they'll all get reworked out eventually.

He does as much Physical damage as LB because she is also seen building hybrid with her Lichbane + Hextech build.

His Q does Hybrid damage and he builds both. Not pure AP. He is hybrid.

Well, Corki builds like a relatively typical ADC + Triforce (ok, and sorc shoes). He only does magic damage because his passive says "all that otherwise physical damage he'd be doing is instead 80% magic"

At least you can still play on-hit Yi who comes with an awesome package of mixed damage between both physical, magical and true damage. You just sit back and laugh at people trying to itemise against you once your build is sufficiently complete enough though getting fed.

While I said it like that, it's still mostly physical damage. But hey, some mixed damage is still cool.

Teemo does entirely magic aside from his base AA damage.

Mundo QW do magic, E is physical, actually pretty mixed.

Bear is very heavily physical.

Corki is 80% magic due to his passive

Fiora is pure physical/true except for riposte, which is basically no damage.

Irelia does magic with ER, but neither is really that much relative to her primary damage with QW (and sheen procs.)

Mixed damage is a bitch, no matter what you build they still deal a fk ton of damage.

Shen and Warwick, the normal one, not the full AP one. You have the Physical vs Magical vs True damage distribution available on Champion.gg. Warwick is roughly 40-50-10. Shen is 50-45-5.

Compared to that, Jax only deals 27% Magic damage.
