Riot Congratulations On Trashing Toplane
Pretty much every tank is complete and utter garbage on the toplane.
The 
nerf and the 
changes made it clear,tanks are no longer viable in the toplane.
Tanks are support champions now.

And it's not like several tanks got buffs to their kits after the Sunfire nerfs or anything...

Glory ln Death1 votesCertainly none of them got it in lane, but a few may have occasionally picked it up as a situational item later in the game. I've gotten it as top Sion occasionally. But Locket changes really have virtually no impact on top lane tanks (except maybe to make them want it more often).

+ "mandatory" support meta.
Locket has been good on many teamfighting junglers and top laners for a long while now.
This just makes it clear in it being an item tanky champs can use to shield their teammates when they go in to fight.
