Zyra would be ridiculously overpowered...

..... if Riot actually implements decent AI for her plants. I mean it's 2017 and plants still won't shoot champions you auto attacked, they won't shoot champions who are actively attacking you, they randomly stop shooting enemy champions next to them, they have wonky targeting AI and often stop shooting at all. Plant attack speed is 0.8 on paper but ingame you're lucky if they shoot once every second lol.

If Riot wants to push Zyra towards a plant control mage instead of a generic aoe burst mage they really got to step up their AI coding. After that maybe they can actually make Zyra a mid laner as they intended her to be.

Oh, just wait until you see the nerf on 7.3 that's going to send her into the same dumpster they put Aatrox into.

She's never going to be a midlaner, and it has nothing to do with the AI of her plants. It's the fact that a Zyra with Sorc Boots and a Void, can pretty much do 90% of the damage as a full AP Zyra. She gets too much damage per level and too little with AP, so why bother playing her mid and wasting gold on her when you can get better results going support.

Hey Everyone! So I will be posting this in other topics as well just to get some feedback as the position Zyra is in right now. Hoping that we can make Zyra more reliable :)

Passive: No change. "But make seeds spawn in close proximity OR have spells be able to reach the same distance as the seeds.

Q: Increase damage OR ap ratio. "NEW" The size of the spell grows twice at levels 8/16. As a controller this definitely helps with reaching far away seeds, dealing big aoe damage and wave clear too!

W: Holds 3 charges now.

E: Slightly longer reach for where the vines travel to. No longer summons lashers now as spitters are more reliable.

R: Ultimate will now slow enemies within by 40% or 60%.
