So yesterday I queued up for a match with my friends. When the match started there was 1 afk on the other team so their team remade the game with /remake
Which is fair of course but my team didn't get any XP or IP from the match? Why? We waited 15 mins to get in a match, 5 min loading so basically we wasted 20 mins for no reward at all.
Riot please at least give us some sort of compensation for our precious time. Thanks!
It's not like the team that votes for the remake doesn't waste just as much time as you do, or like they wanted the person to afk.
I can agree with this. It's not like you get put back in the queue after a remake like you would if someone dodged. You have to sit through another 10-20 minutes of queue time and matchmaking to get another game started.

I don't quite get this logic when thinking about it. Basically you're saying you had your time wasted, and therefore you should be rewarded. Imo the extreme of this would be that you queued up, got into champ select, someone dodged, and now you want ip/xp for it. This is effectively the case you're making because the only difference is that a loading screen and 3 minutes of gameplay was added on...
Reduced LP in the event that a player on the enemy team AFKs and they remake is a fair solution. If I have a computer that I take good care of, regularly check my modem before playing, and then go into ranked, I should not have my time wasted for someone else's mistake, not when que times are so high.
Right now I receive 20 LP as a standard whenever I win a ranked game. 10LP is more than acceptable.
Both teams please. Just because one team had an AFK means they get a wasted 20 minutes?
I think a very small IP/lp amount is acceptable but for both teams.
Something like 1LP / 2LP for ranked or 30ip for a norm.
I don't think it will be able to be abused if its a really low amount as the AFK system will just auto ban the account after a couple of times and Q timers on the account in question will be really long.
With the higher exposure and ban rate on botted accounts its way to expensive to mass buy lvl 30 accounts to try to farm LP this way. I think hand leveled accounts are going for $50 and will end up banned with the AFK system with a few offenses trying to farm 1lp a remake. >10LP for $50+ isnt worth the abuse.
People will still continue to pay for boosts.

Buying accounts is against the rules, as is botting and boosting. -for those who may not know.
What should happen is the player(s) that cause the remake should lose double the normal lp.
